Food was horrible! Felt like it came out of a can. Cooked fresh but was soggy? Flavor was weak even the fried rice was horrible. The thickest tasteless egg drop I’ve ever had then the bill of different from the menu go up to register and states that prices differ because of cash versus card ok fine then I’m charged more again!!?? That’s 3 price differences!!?? Don’t waste your time. I’ve had bad Chinese this has to be the worst. I don’t know how you can mess up such a simple thing. Even the crab Rangoon tasted hard as a rock as if fried twice?? Cool sitting area waitress was nice but man that food was horrible our entire party was grossed out!! Until they make a drastic change don’t bother.

Absolutely the worst Chinese I’ve ever had. The spicy chicken was fried in the morning. It was soggy and I couldn’t finish it. They replaced it with Hunan chicken. It was slimy and soggy. The rice was dried out. There is no way the rice was made the same day.

Really nice service. Complimentary tea was really good. Food was good, and so were the fortunes… Accurate… Really like the decorations and atmosphere too

Why this place has the rating it does, is beyond me. Visiting from out of town, and got take out. The food was inedible! We had to throw it in the trash. I have never seen such gummy and sticky Chinese food in all the years of doing takeout. There was little meat – all breading and sticky syrup. We ordered the Lemon Chicken and the Orange Beef. Please do not waste your money.

Ordered through DoorDash and everything was just complete trash we ordered the wonton soup there was nothing there it was just junk and rapper no actual filling. The sweet and sour chicken came pre-mixed so it was soggy trash just playing awful and they had the audacity to send little cups of sweet and sour like what’s the point of that if it’s soaking in sweet and sour it was terribly disgusting uneatable. Ordered the sampler for two came with some cuts of beef barbecued egg rolls, crab meat rangoons and some kind of dumpling. So the dumplings were decent really thick rapper though I’ve never had such a thick rapper that it’s just feeling basically anything on the inside was minimal The wrapper was just hugely huge. The egg rolls were decent not much to complain about them things but that is the only thing spent nearly $50 for decent egg rolls and everything else was just straight trash. I am very upset about this I can’t believe such a nasty restaurant could exist everything was just wasted trash tasted disgusting This place should be shut down.

The service was friendly and it was beautiful inside! I ordered the orange chicken and my partner ordered the yen ching beef. Both were served on their own platters separate from the rice bowl so we could share if desired. Both tasted great! Orange chicken is a personal favorite of mine here.

Fun environment and friendly staff. Best egg rolls in town. Certain dishes could be considered a little “bland,” but that is a matter of opinion, well prepared though nonetheless.

I’ve been going to yen chings Dubuque for over 2 decades and it is hands down my favorite Chinese food in Dubuque. The portions are more than fair, the price is reasonable and the owner and his staff are amazing. Hope they are around for another 2 decades or more
