Cold rainy day + good Chinese food= happy belly!
Was missing a side of fried rice, the soup was lukewarm, and the egg roll was cold.
Besides all that the lo mein had a lot of chicken and the orange chick was moist and delicious! Will be back hopefully will have everything I ordered.

I’ve edited this review 3 times. OMG this food is beyond amazing. NOT your typical Chinese food experience. I was disappointed at first because a family-sized order is $18 and only feeds one person. Service was fast and friendly. But this is THE BEST CHINESE FOOD I’VE EVER HAD! It was delicious! I ordered a family-sized meal and we’re both still very hungry. If we had known what small portions were served, we’d have planned on spending $60 for a meal for 2 people — I’m definitely going to be back

Went during a weekday lunch, very pretty decor and quiet atmosphere. Full drink menu was available, not just beer and wine. Started off with a hot and sour soup appetizer, which was flavorful and full of ingredients. For an entrée I ordered the happy family- beef, chicken, shrimp and scallops in brown sauce, with a side of fried rice. A huge heaping portion that I couldn’t finish all of, and super delicious. The only two knocks for the meal were the rice- it wasn’t exactly fried and just tasted like white rice that had been tossed in soy sauce or something? Still tasted fine, just wasn’t really fried. The other thing being one of the scallops in the meal wasn’t properly cleaned so it had gritty sand/ pebbles or something attached to it still. No big deal, it didn’t ruin the rest of the food, I just avoided eating that one. It happens.
My server was super attentive and sweet, food and drinks both came out quickly. Overall a great dining experience.

I have finally found a Chinese restaurant equal to those I frequented in California!! The staff are very friendly and the food excellent. The restaurant has a soothing atmosphere and is very popular. I have finally found my Chinese restaurant!!! And oh no… another expensive habit because I now go almost every other day because their food is so good! Most meals start at about $14. Some appetizers start at $2.95. I’m hopelessly hooked 🙂

I was very disappointed after ordering from Yen Ching. They are not the same as they used to be. I called in for delivery and woman was very rude, they discontinued what was on the menu. I ordered a combination platter which is shrimp, chicken, beef and mixed vegetables. When it came it was not even full and had only 2 shrimp, mostly broccoli. It cost 18.95 plus 5.00 delivery plus I tipped. That one order was $30 and wasn’t even filled up plus only 2 shrimp. In my opinion, that does not deserve a second time. I was definitely not an appreciated customer.

The food was prepared well. All items were delicious and hot when we picked them up. Everything was done in a timely manner. We highly recommend this place. UPDATE: Ordered almost $200 of food on Mother’s Day to go and they said 45 minutes to 1 hour. I arrived at 45 minutes and there were up to a dozen people waiting for their orders. They kept telling everyone who was calling in that their food would be ready in an hour. I finally told them to stop lying to people because it’s taking at least an hour and a half to get anything out of the kitchen. It was another hour before I finally got my food. So it was a total of one hour and 45 minutes to get my food. The crazy thing was there were very few orders coming out of the kitchen. There were maybe 20 customers seated at the tables inside and about four waitresses. I don’t know what the holdup was other than they may have taken a lunch break because five Papa John’s pizzas were delivered while I was waiting. All this to say even though the food was great as always I did not appreciate the way they handled everyone that was waiting, some of them not so patiently, for their food.

Got delivery on a Friday, called in our order. Everyone was kind and efficient. The orange chicken was our favorite thing, it was sweet, spicy and crispy. Will be ordering from here again!!

Went here for lunch ,waitress and hostess was very polite and professional. We wanted to be seated at a booth but none were clean so the waitress hurriedly cleaned one to accommodate us. I ordered the shrimp fried rice and spring roll. My wife ordered shrimp egg foo young. Both were delicious. And reasonably priced. Will definitely be back soon.

The food to me is good…the service is good anf has a nice chinese atmosphere….sit down chinese restaurants are few and far between….the portion could be a little bigger but with biden/ harris economy …I understand….the hot and sour soup was good…I had hunan chicken…it was good and a vegetable egg roll….no complaints…been here 3 or 4 times

This place has gone down in quality so much since the owner lket his angry, mean sister take over the place. I’ve been eating here for 20 years and the quality just isn’t there anymore. When you say anything, the lady that runs the place yells at you. She was literally arguing with my wife when al lshe wanted to do was place an order. So sad. We miss Jimmy.
