Massive portions, fresh ingredients, clearly homemade with no shortcuts. This is the old school American-Chinese place you want it to be with the classic dishes: sweet and sour and hot mustard containers (not packets) presented with the appetizers, a hot and sour soup so much better than any in the area, and an extremely friendly staff. If I had a negative, it’s the fried rice, it just felt a little flat compared to everything else… but mixed with the chicken and sauce was still delicious. I don’t live close by but will find reasons to visit here.

Yen Ching House is the best place to go for lunch after church. When we visited, my mom had some dietary restrictions, and our waiter showed genuine care and concern, making sure everything would be okay for her! Which we truly appreciated.
The only small downside is that they don’t offer fountain drinks, just bottled drinks that you pour over ice yourself. That said, the food and service more than make up for it. This is hands down the best Chinese food in the area. 100% recommend.

I got shrimp with stir-fried rice noodles and for an extra $3.25 got two appetizers, a vegetarian spring roll and crab rangoon and a small bowl of hot and sour soup. We had the Moo Goo Gai Pan & vegetable Egg Foo Yung. Both were expertly prepared & tasted wonderful. The thing that stands is the fast service, something not often seen in a sit down, non-buffet American Chinese restaurant. GOOD EATS! Do not miss this place. Try the poo poo platter.
