We had a wonderful experience at Sheena Yemeni Restaurant. The food was excellent and full of flavor. Everything tasted fresh and authentic, and the portions were generous, which was great for our group. The service was also very good. The staff were friendly(Chef Abdo) attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. They were welcoming and patient with our group, which made the whole experience even better.Overall, it was a great place for family and friends to enjoy a meal together. If you are looking for delicious Yemeni food and good service, Sheena Yemeni Restaurant is definitely worth visiting.

The haneeth lamb was decent but the lamb was overcooked in some spots. The soup was okay, but the house salad was nothing special. Beware that going when they first “open” at 10am is still closed since staff had told me that they don’t actually open until around noon.

Great little spot for middle eastern authentic Yemeni food. Breakfast is excellent and food portions are big. The cooks are yemenese and the flavor is spot on .

This place was delicious! The people were friendly, too. Very tender, flavorful lamb. The rice was excellent. I am obsessed with the soup! I wish I lived closer so I could go here often. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

The lamb is wonderful and the rice is flavorful.
Chicken shawarma is okay, a bit soggy and could use more flavor in it but still good.
I love having the restaurant here so you can order food and is ready by the time you finish grocery shopping.

My wife and I love trying a variety of ethnic food around town. I can tell you that this place is one of the best in Columbia as far as authentic and good. It is a true hole in the wall type of place, but it is clean and has good service. The hummus is some of the best I have ever had, as well as the baba ganoush. Their traditional Afghan rice dish was amazing as well. If you are looking for something new to try this is the place for you. This is my first time trying food from this part of the world and I am glad I took a chance on it. This restaurant is located at the back of a grocery store, but don’t let that fool you. The food is awesome.

FOOD WAS SO AMAZING!! Don’t let the area and atmosphere throw you off, trust me the food is worth it – but the restaurant is connected to shopping store as well. Very friendly staff. Prices are pretty good for the food and amount you get. The family meals are insanely huge and delicious. Hummus is great, next time we’re gonna try the falafels. ➡️➡️ FOLLOW ME for more honest and great reviews

went about an hour before writing this, i’m eating the chicken shawarma, grape leaves, and the lamb soup they have and it is all incredible. i can’t believe this type of food is hidden in a grocery store of all places.
lil bit of difficulty speaking with staff due to me only knowing english, but they were extremely kind and cool and we ended up understanding each other. definitely coming back again.

I wanted to give 5 stars to this place because they have 5 star food, and the host was nice and kind too, but the area needs some cleaning. We were traveling and needed to use the restroom, too, which needed some cleanup as well.
Also, I have asked if there is any sauce I can get for which the host was a bit annoyed and said it would ruin the food taste. Everyone likes the food their way, and sauce, like garlic mayo or tomato sauce, does taste good with rice and BBQ.
The kabuli pulao is a must try, and lamb shank was very soft and nice.
