Food here was pretty decent, but about average given its price point. Nothing really stood out, but it is plated nicely. The server was friendly but the recommendations should be taken with a grain of salt. The truffle salmon was good although light on the truffle, but the rest weren’t worth even remembering the name. The restaurant is well-decorated and seems like a pretty decent spot for a quiet date. There’s a second floor, but I didnt bother to check or ask. Overall, it’s a good spot if you’re in the mood for some sushi during a date but certainly not a place you’d seek out if you’re not in the area.

The broth alone deserves its own moment of silence—deep, aromatic, layered, and begging to be sopped up until the bowl is embarrassingly clean. The mussels were plump, perfectly cooked, and clearly respected. This dish sets the tone immediately: someone in this kitchen knows exactly what they’re doing.
Then came the bluefin toro roll, which is where Yellowtail really separates itself from the pack. The toro was rich, buttery, and indulgent in that way that makes you slow down mid-bite because rushing would be disrespectful. Clean flavors, balanced rice, no gimmicks. Just pristine fish doing what pristine fish does best.
The salmon with truffle oil might sound like a risky move on paper—truffle can bully its way into anything—but here it was used with restraint and confidence. This place does not miss, great ambiance, great food, great staff. Multiple occasions the consistency is appreciated. If you listen to anything get the BAKED mussels , and if you love sushi I get the Tokyo but change the sauce to spicy ponzu.

All of the staff are extremely friendly and attentive. Our waiter, Matt, was a super chill guy and explained the menu thoroughly. The food was absolutely delicious, exquisite and fresh!! 10/10 would come again
