I’m traveling for work in Houston and staying in Pearland. I decided to walk over to this sushi spot by my hotel. Little did I know I would have one of the best sushi/omakase experiences of my life. I was greeted by a friendly gentleman who invited to me to sit at the bar. A very nice woman quickly approached me with a smile and asked what I could have to drink. Her kind energy was exactly what I needed after a long day of work. I decided to get the 10 piece omakase special and it was nothing short of phenomenal. I’ve had sushi at some of the top spots in San Diego and New York. This was elite. Sam is a master and outstanding chef. The meal he made me was one I will always remember. It made my trip. I can’t wait to come back the next time I’m in the area. Thank you Sam and E for the exceptional service and even better food!

This place had by FAR the best ramen and nigiri I have ever had. Their fish tastes so fresh like no other and their ramen is so full of flavor in every bite. We got the brisket ramen and chili oil tonkotsu and they are phenomenal. The whole atmosphere is great also and their service is 10/10. Definitely our new favorite ramen/sushi place.

Great little Japanese restaurant. King Crab and scallop foie gras were excellent – don’t miss the scallops. Extra spicy ramen was excellent. Hot but with great flavor. Wish I was in this part of town more often!!!

This place easily becomes our favorite sushi spot, the nigiri are so good, especially the cherry trout. We’ll be definitely coming back again to try the ramen!

A little about me… I love sushi. A lot. I have tried most all of the high end sushi restaurants in the Houston area and have also visited Japan a couple of times and eaten sushi and numerous places there.
This is my MOST FAVORITE sushi restaurant IN THE WORLD.
Sam, the chef, is an absolute master.
My recommendation: Go here. Sit at the bar. Let Sam make you some Nigiri. Insist on having the hamachi toro, masu, hotate & wagyu. I mean… just take a look at the wagyu in the picture!
It’ll be the best culinary decision you’ve made in a long time.

Hands down the best sushi place I have ever been to in Houston, the sashimi is very fresh, the spicy salmon and spicy tuna is immaculate. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves sushi.

Hidden gem! I was passing through the area and wanted some crispy rice and saw the great reviews this place had. I stopped in and ordered the tuna crispy rice and the salmon and yellowtail nigiri. All super delicious. The quality of the salmon and yellowtail was amazing, super tender and comparable to that of higher end restaurants. I will definitely be back if I’m in the area!

The food was all super fresh and the atmosphere is very quaint. It’s family run, so the operation might be a little slow and short staffed, but it adds to the charm and authenticity. Everything I ordered tasted so good and will definitely keep coming back.

This is the best sushi spot in Pearland. Way better than Nishiki. Their maki has so much meat. I loved the yellowtail maki. The sea bream nigiri was delicious. I also recommend the ramen and green milk tea. Already itching to come back!
Update: went back a second time and it was just as yummy. The amberjack nigiri was exquisite and rivaled the quality and taste of other high end sushi restaurants in town.
