Most breakfast spots tend to blend together, with only a few truly standing out. This place, however, is definitely in that top 10%! It’s an experience you’ll be talking about long after your meal.
Our party of eight was thoroughly impressed. Everyone loved their breakfast, and it’s easy to see why. The food was simply amazing. What really set this restaurant apart were the extra touches. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and made from scratch. The portions were generous, and each plate was beautifully decorated, showing a real attention to detail.
Beyond the fantastic food, the prices were very reasonable for such high quality. The ambiance also contributed to the wonderful experience, with a clean and cute vibe that felt welcoming and charming.
If you’re looking for a breakfast spot that goes above and beyond, this is it. It’s truly memorable and highly recommendable!
The moment we walked in, we felt a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere that was exactly what we needed after a long day. The service was fantastic—friendly and attentive without being overwhelming.
The food was truly the star of the show. Everything was fresh and delicious, and the portions were generous. We were all thrilled with our meals, and it was the perfect way to refuel and celebrate our time together.
Yellow Vase didn’t just provide a great meal; it completed our perfect day. It was an amazing experience from start to finish. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful cafe experience in the area.
They have a lot of great drinks, pastries, and breakfast items. The portion sizes here are not very large compared to other breakfast spots around town, especially the diners, but they have great flavors and fair pricing. The staff was very polite and all of our items arrived quickly. For this most recent visit I ordered the Eggs Benedict with ham which I thought was good, although the eggs were overdone so they weren’t runny at all. Also the side salad was very small and lacked any real flavor. We also ordered a bunch of different pastries and honestly, each one was great. My favorite was probably the strawberry and cheese.
Overall one of the best scenery brunch places you can go to in LA and would be a great place to bring someone visiting town. I would recommend and I plan to be back in the near future.
The menu is clear and predictable—no surprises, but with the feeling that you already know what’s going to be delicious. It’s a pleasant place to sit, sip coffee, and pretend you’re not in a hurry.
It’s a place for relaxed breakfasts, leisurely conversations, and those times when you crave stability, comfort, and a dessert that doesn’t ask any questions.
The French toast with caramelized apples was super delicious and the steak and eggs were on par. I don’t live near here but next time I’m near the Palisades area I will drop in
