Loved this quaint cafe in the middle of Palos Verdes. Loved the decor and atmosphere. It’s really pet friendly and has a beautiful patio. I ordered the iced mocha and a turkey club panini. It was delicious, perfectly toasted and fresh ingredients. The mocha was not too sweet or too bitter, it was just right. I took my pup and sat outside and enjoyed the outdoors after a fun hike. Definitely recommend.

A Truly Memorable Breakfast Experience!
Most breakfast spots tend to blend together, with only a few truly standing out. This place, however, is definitely in that top 10%! It’s an experience you’ll be talking about long after your meal.
Our party of eight was thoroughly impressed. Everyone loved their breakfast, and it’s easy to see why. The food was simply amazing. What really set this restaurant apart were the extra touches. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and made from scratch. The portions were generous, and each plate was beautifully decorated, showing a real attention to detail.
Beyond the fantastic food, the prices were very reasonable for such high quality. The ambiance also contributed to the wonderful experience, with a clean and cute vibe that felt welcoming and charming.
If you’re looking for a breakfast spot that goes above and beyond, this is it. It’s truly memorable and highly recommendable!

After a beautiful and challenging hike up the Palos Verdes hills with my sister and brother, we were all starving and in desperate need of a good meal. We Googled local restaurants and landed on Yellow Vase, and it turned out to be the absolute best choice we could have made.
The moment we walked in, we felt a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere that was exactly what we needed after a long day. The service was fantastic—friendly and attentive without being overwhelming.
The food was truly the star of the show. Everything was fresh and delicious, and the portions were generous. We were all thrilled with our meals, and it was the perfect way to refuel and celebrate our time together.
Yellow Vase didn’t just provide a great meal; it completed our perfect day. It was an amazing experience from start to finish. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful cafe experience in the area.

In terms of vibes, ambience, and location this has to be one of my favorite brunch spots in all of Los Angeles. I have had better food at other breakfast spots but the scenery here is hard to beat and we honestly had a wonderful Sunday brunch. There are three locations scattered around RPV, this being the most northern and prettiest location. It is located in the back corner of a shopping center tucked away in its own spot underneath a giant tree. They do have indoor seating, but most people choose to sit outside under the tree and in the sun, which is what we did and it was a wonderful experience. You order at the counter inside and then they give you a number and then bring the food to you, it’s not a full-service restaurant. Parking is plentiful because they have a large free parking lot attached that is never full.

They have a lot of great drinks, pastries, and breakfast items. The portion sizes here are not very large compared to other breakfast spots around town, especially the diners, but they have great flavors and fair pricing. The staff was very polite and all of our items arrived quickly. For this most recent visit I ordered the Eggs Benedict with ham which I thought was good, although the eggs were overdone so they weren’t runny at all. Also the side salad was very small and lacked any real flavor. We also ordered a bunch of different pastries and honestly, each one was great. My favorite was probably the strawberry and cheese.

Overall one of the best scenery brunch places you can go to in LA and would be a great place to bring someone visiting town. I would recommend and I plan to be back in the near future.

Great service and great setup. Lovely outdoor patio, both kid and dog friendly. Food is ok. Pastries are not always fresh. Decor is a bit dated.

Yellow Vase is a sweet, cozy café with the feel of a European morning, even if it’s already midday outside. Everything is neat and beautiful, and the dessert displays look like you’ll want to take a photo of them before you eat them.

The menu is clear and predictable—no surprises, but with the feeling that you already know what’s going to be delicious. It’s a pleasant place to sit, sip coffee, and pretend you’re not in a hurry.

It’s a place for relaxed breakfasts, leisurely conversations, and those times when you crave stability, comfort, and a dessert that doesn’t ask any questions.

This a great little restaurant with outside seating and fur babies welcomed. Come for the food stay for the views and calm vibes.
The French toast with caramelized apples was super delicious and the steak and eggs were on par. I don’t live near here but next time I’m near the Palisades area I will drop in

Must go, this place is a little slice of France, wrapped in yellow sunshine. Food was so delicious, serving size was large so you will leave full and very satisfied the French bread fill almost half the plate. The wait staff was very nice. Food was delivered fast to the table. We ate outside in the front but there is lots of places to eat including a banquet room and an area out back. If you want quick sit down meal, and your in the area this is a must. 5 stars, highly recommended.
