Yellow River Tap and Eatery is a newer addition to Plymouth. My wife and I have been wanting to go here for awhile, but never got the chance. We finally got a chance last Friday night Dec 12th. I didn’t know what to expect other than the normal places in Plymouth that have decent food but either an outdated or nonexistent atmosphere. We walked into this restaurant and not only was the atmosphere updated and modern, the food was delicious. We got a Margherita pizza and a Manipesto pizza. Both were delicious but I liked the Manipesto pizza better. We also tried the tap part of the restaurant. The way it works is you go over to that section and start a tab at the cashier. They give you a e-card. Along the wall are several different brews and a few wines. You pay by the ounce. You tap the card on the one you want and pull a lever. You can try as many or as few as you want. It calculates it by ounce. When you are done you cash out at the cashier. My wife and I tried a few and with a tip paid around $11. The alcohol section is separate from everything else. To summarize, we have found a new place we will be coming back to in Plymouth. Great food, interesting and great tasting beers, and friendly service staff. We look forward to coming back here.

Heard about this place from my buddy Jarrod who works there. So when I was visiting we had to check it out. The whole atmosphere here is awesome and the staff were so nice. The food was delicious. We tried the Mac and cheese, pizza and the wings. Never had smoked wings before but omg they were so good. Definitely recommend this place to anyone. Will eat here again when in town next time.

Our new favorite place to eat ❤️ everyone was welcoming, the food was delicious, there was a good variety of beer to try, and we liked the self serve aspect! It was cozy too despite the crowd. We got the buffalo chicken pizza and smoked wings which were so good!

Oh how I have long awaited being able to review this restaurant.

As always, I will review based off of three categories: Food, service and atmosphere.

Food
I had a build your own pizza. I really appreciate a nice char on the crust and they nailed it! The underside is still soft enough to enjoy easily, but it’s not doughy. The hummus and bread was also very tasty. 5/5 stars for their food!

Service
So this is a read different from a traditional restaurant. You order up at the counter, but you also have to go up to the counter to get your food. There are a couple staff that walk around and ask how you are liking things, but other than that you have to self serve. For those who enjoy a beer, they have a tap wall that you can self serve beer from. They have a large selection from local breweries and wineries. 5/5 stars for service.

Atmosphere
This kind of establishment has been needed in Plymouth for a long time. It feels like a place to gather and stay. If you know anything about Strong Towns, you know what I’m talking about. If it gives you any idea of how much they want you to sit and stay, they have a small selection of board and card games available to play. 5/5 stars for atmosphere.

Congratulations to the team here for knocking out of the park. Keep up the great work.

Went here for a date night without doing any research beforehand. From the moment you walk in, this has a genuine Public House vibe in the best way possible.
Large tables and board games, cozy booths for couples and small groups. Family friendly while still adult oriented.

Our pizza was some of the best in the area. Ingredients were fresh, and the crust was cooked to perfection. The kitchen is an example of how food should be presented while cooking.

Lastly, the pour your own tap concept is revolutionary for this area. Un expecting even in a small town. The ability to try different beers, along with the vast variety from sours, Pilsner’s and stouts makes this a great spot.

We will gladly make this a routine stop for our date nights.

The Marguerita and Pestoino pizzas were great! Also the salsa and chips, salsa is fresh made & really tasty! Beer & wine drinks are serve yourself in a very unique tap experience. I can’t wait to go back and try more of their selections.

Definitely a unique dining experience! You seat yourself and order at the register when you’re ready.
You also pour your own brew, which was fun! The chips and salsa is very good, garlic-heavy, and the pizza is incredible too.

Waited so long for this establishment to open and it was worth the wait. The pizza is excellent especially the crust and I’m not a ‘bread’ person. It’s chewy and crispy all at the same time.
Always able to find a beer we like! Relaxing and convenient. It’s our ‘go to’

I came in from out of town to taste the local brews. My family and I are visiting my brother and sister in law from Texas. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was inviting. Also, the brew wall was well stocked with a variety of local brews as well as main stables of all domestic varieties. Next time I am in town I will definitely stop by!

The food here is amazing. I’ve had a lot of pizza, and there’s is just incredible. The ranch is also the best I’ve ever had. Barbecue options are also amazing. 10/10 love this place!
