OMG! The woman working the window was so kind and helped me pick out these amazing flavors. They taste so yummy without being overly sweet. The drive-thru is such a smart option and made the process really quick. I definitely will be going back again and telling everybody to do the same!

Made an online order, food was ready within 10-15 mins, packed neatly and still hot when I made it home. Friendly staff. Biscuits and gravy and hash brown rings were superb! Too full to eat my donuts but also ordered poppyseed and key lime. Great options at fair prices. So happy to have them in the neighborhood.

My second visit here was the best experience! The lady at the window was very nice, she was patient with me and made great suggestions. The donuts were good and filling; great when warmed with ice cream! I bought a half dozen of variety flavors at the end of the day. The place closes so early so I have to be intentional to get there before closing. I will be back to get more donuts soon.

The coffee esp the dark beans is great. I love buying their whole beans. I only thought their donuts were okay but I’m not a huge donut lover. The reason for my the 5 stars is the coffee AND the Hash browns. They are in UNREAL. The best hash browns I’ve ever had – like mcdonalds but way better.

The 1st time I stopped here I was just going to get a coffee….I was greeted with 2 free doughnuts on the house which was unexpected and amazing of course! I was given a blueberry one and a classic vanilla …when I say these are thee best doughnuts I’ve ever had!!!! I have been back twice getting a half dozen both times and last visit I got a chicken sausage w and cheese biscuit and I added an egg. It was fantastic as well. The blueberry and the brown butter plantain are my favorites but everything I’ve gotten has been lovely. Thank you so much for the customer service and impeccable quality y’all have!!! I normally will not even eat doughnuts because of the calories but these….these are worth it for sure. I recommend very highly! You will too after you try it!!!!!

Best donuts ever!!! My kids brought home a dozen of donuts from the yellow light, so I cannot tell anything about the service and the atmosphere of the store.
The donuts are excellent. It’s very fresh and not oily. You can taste the good ingredients. Blueberry, raspberry, lemon, lime taste like those fruits with right amount of sweetness. Birthday cake, brown butter and old fashion were also excellent. We will be coming back for more donuts again.

Hands down the best donuts in Detroit, maybe even Metro Detroit! I love their daily specials (today’s was chocolate peppermint) and the brown butter is amazing! They perfected their glaze and fluffy texture!

I have no complaints. Customer service was good. My coffee was great! I’m not even mad that they only have one syrup for the coffee because it’s a good quality vanilla. Once I stirred everything up, my coffee was the perfect flavor. It had the sweetness that I needed but the coffee flavor wasn’t lost at all. Very impressive. I got the egg and cheese sandwich. Very flavorful. I could definitely see myself returning here.

I recently started working in this area and was excited to try this place. I finally did last week. I tried the chicken sausage biscuit and also the egg and cheese biscuit. Both were excellent! But the star of the show for me is the apple cider donut! It is probably the best donut I’ve ever had in my life! I’ve had it 3 times now. It’s so hard just to eat just one. It would be cool if this was in their regular rotation. But I think it’s a limited time donut. Anyway, hurry up and get your coffee and donut and breakfast fix here! And to the owners and workers thank you so much for delivering such a great product!

This was our second try at Yellow Light, the biscuits both times have been disappointing. Not fluffy, small. Mine was hard on the bottom and soft on the top. Probably been sitting too long. My coffee also not good. Tasted burnt like it had been sitting on the burner all day. We tried twice and we are done. Didn’t have donuts this time because they were just okay lady time, not impressive.
