Ordered 2 Chilli Dogs, Fries, Onion Rings and 2 Fried Apple Pies. The dogs,fries and rings were good. The oil they cooked in was clean. The pies were not so good. Needed to be sweeter. The only issue I had was the bathroom. It was filthy. See picture attached.

This is hands down the best chilli cheese dog I’ve ever had. I have been back multiple times and brought other people to experience the the fantastic food and service.

My grandmother and I visited here, she loves hotdogs I didn’t enjoy the hotdog at all it was something that I could have made at home. There was nothing special about it, they don’t have many toppings and the dining area was not really clean. The space where you get the condiments was not clean either. I’m here now with my grandma and I’m waiting in the car for her to get her food.

Tried this place for lunch for the first time today but we will be back. Dad had chili dogs and onion rings, my wife had grilled cheese and fries, and I had a hot dog, corn dog, and hamburger. It was too much for us to finish and it was right about $30 for three people, which you just can’t find anymore. The food was good, the service was great, and the atmosphere was a lot of fun. Can’t wait to come back and sample more items!!

Even though I’m a UGA Bulldog fan, I can appreciate a great decor and tribute to a hometown team. The atmosphere and food were amazing. I had slaw dogs and onion rings while it is not the more famous GT hotdog restaurant it isn’t far off taste wise. I give Yellow Jackets an 8 out of 10 if the other restaurant is solid 10. The service was top Noth and fast something you don’t see much of in 2o24. If I’m in the area again, I’ll definitely be back.

I’ve been going to the Yellow Jacket with my family my entire life. From the toasted buns to the crispy onion rings, they never disappoint. It has always been the very best hotdog in Georgia to me and still is to this day. Next time you’re headed to the Varsity do yourself a favor, save yourself a stomach ache, and take a drive to Ellenwood, GA for the best hotdogs in town!!!
