We love the Yellow Jacket and have for years!! My Papa went by most every morning for breakfast with his “breakfast crew”. It was his favorite place. The people are wonderful, giving, & down to earth. Great people, great food, & it’s a staple in the Calhoun community. There’s not much more you could ask for!!

Great breakfast. I love the Country ham with biscuits and gravy. Their burgers are the best in town. Steaks on Friday are really good too! Just wish they were open later so we enjoy the food for dinner also. They have some good daily specials.

Yum! I don’t order burgers much when I got out to eat, but Yellow Jacket is now an exception to that rule! Loved it, fresh everything! Service was excellent and everyone was welcoming and friendly! Highly recommend!

02/25/2026 First time my husband and I tried this restaurant. It was really busy at noon. I understand why, their food is really good and the staff is very friendly. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere. I would recommend everyone to try this restaurant if you’re in the area or just want to try somewhere new that you haven’t tried before.

I arrived shortly after they opened. My first time eating at the Yellow Jacket, and it certainly won’t be my last. This lil friendly establishment is truly a southern gem! Great southern style breakfast, portions were spot on, the sweet tea was probably the best I’ve ever had, not overly sweet, but just right!! Very welcoming and friendly too!!!
Please note: I tend to eat more than the average person, so don’t let my bill steer you away…plus, I left a generous tip! There’s plenty to eat at the Yellow Jacket for under $10.

Yellow Jacket Drive-In Restaurant is absolutely fantastic! ❤️ My go-to dish is the Philly Cheese Steak with onion rings, but honestly, everything on the menu is good. They offer an exceptional breakfast too – bacon, grits, and eggs – all at very reasonable prices. Plus, the staff is incredibly friendly! This place is a must-visit!
