We were in the lake country so decided to go to the old school for a meal.. Special for the day was deep fried perch,,,all you can eat! WOW, what a deal!!! So we both ordered the special.. It was very good and there was plenty of it the 1st time around.. Seating was kinda different.. Dividers between tables..probly from covid days days.. But it does give more individual seating in a small room.. Remember that it was an old country school at one time.. When in the area give them a try..

Food was great…maybe not the chilli. Chilli taste like tomato soup with hamburger, but the rest of our food was great!! The another thing was the prices are low. We will return soon!! I forgot….smoked baked beans aren’t smokey tasting so we added mustard and ketchup.

Great little restaurant, lots of parking outside, waitress was fast and attentive, food was amazing with large portions. I had the atomic hangover burger with onion rings it was great. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great place to eat!

This super cute School House Bar & grill is a hidden gem in good Ol beautiful back roads country Minnesota. Population 4, in the town of Edwards. And I am not being biased 😉 Sumo is a beast mode chef & the chicks that work for him aren’t so bad themselves. Best burgers around hands down! Best food, atmosphere & By far, Best down to earth service for sure!! A+ no trouble makers allowed haha. Come check it out for yourself!

Five stars for the schoolhouse! We were in town from North Carolina and we felt right at home. Sumo made the best burgers, walleye sandwiches, onion rings, and fries. The service was incredible and Sumo went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect. Don’t miss out on the pickled northern caught just 100 yards away. Best experience ever!!!
