Once beloved ye old pancake house. Is just that, once beloved. They have a lot of staff and they are seemingly attentive. Food is mediocre and not exactly what you order. I think their prices are extremely high for the food quality and not really being able to order what you want. They absolutely do not allow substitutions. Which is a rough thing, why throw out food or serve customers what they don’t want? Seems very wasteful and not customer oriented. They have a sign as you enter that states “we have the right to ask you to pre-pay”.(pic below)” Just gives off an ugly vibe, in my opinion. Restaurant cleanliness isn’t the best either. The server was nice forgot the one drink we ordered until the very end. Food came out quick. But wasn’t great quality. Just felt like it wasn’t a great experience overall. Ordered a German pancake and got crepes (pictured below). Ordered chocolate chip pancakes and got regular flapjacks with a handful of choc chips on top. Just doesn’t scream quality or experience to me.

What’s not to love? Reasonable prices, good & classic diner style food, and great & attentive customer service! The biscuit was fluffy, fresh made, and the sausage gravy was so so good!

I had breakfast here for the first time and knew pretty quickly that it would become a favorite. On a Sunday at 10am, I fully expected to wait. But even though the restaurant was somewhat busy, they had some tables open! Our server was kind, helpful, and attentive. They come around often to refill coffee. The food was delicious, made exactly as ordered. Generous portions mean I had some to take home and enjoy later! I can recommend the vegetarian omelet. There were more things I wanted to try so I’ll definitely be back!

Another interesting thing I noticed, the booth seating is vintage and still very firm and supportive. Not like all the other places you sink into and cant get out. Lol
This place is going to be my GO TO spot when friends and family visit!

We arrived at almost closing time 20 mins before closing . The servers went out of their way to make us feel at home , their willingness to make us feel comfortable. (eventhough we arrived late , they didn’t seem to mind )
That’s what I call extra ordinary people . Yes I look forward to go back earlier this time and enjoy the great service and friendly faces .

Love this place. Old 70s vibe. Feels like IHOP of old when they were good. Blintzes great; Benedict great; hashbrowns great. Coffee is good enough. Service was quick and attentive. Check out that sweet stained glass (told it was made by a loyal customer).

This was disappointing especially for my wife. We had breakfast here and I got two eggs with potatoe pancakes which was good but my wife got Swedish Pancakes. They were raw inside. I dont mean under cooked, raw. She ate them anyway and I had a bite and they were raw. I think she thought maybe it was okay but it turned out it wasn’t. On the way home she got stomach sick and while we can not say for sure that breakfast was the reason, she was fine besides her stomach being really upset. So we think it was because of her eating the pancakes, but either way a pancake house should be able to serve properly cooked pancakes. We will not be going back. The coffee was also not good. No taste just like drinking hot water. Just not a great experience.

I’ve been here multiple times and it’s ALWAYS terrific. The pancakes are sooooo fluffy and filling, though my personal favorite is the taco omelette. I took my partner here for our anniversary and they also loved it. HUGE recommend!

Ordered the banana walnut pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, and the chocolate chip pancakes. Food was good, the pancakes didn’t break apart when you dip into the syrup, which is always a plus for me. The banana walnut pancakes are regular pancakes topped with banana and walnuts, and the chocolate chip pancakes are cocoa pancakes topped with chocolate chips.
