My friend invited me to fish sandwich lunch and it was great, battered and fried of course. I asked for everything on the sandwich and green beans. It was delicious.
The staff was very friendly and the customers also friendly and willing to talk if you choose so.

The front door sticks. So if you are there during regular hours and you think the door is locked, try again. I almost missed getting my first fish sandwich from Ye Olde Fish House and I’m so glad I didn’t!! Amazing ppl, amazing service and AMAZING FISH!!

And if you follow my posts, you know I don’t like it at restaurants like Subway, 5Guys and Starbucks that have tip jars out. Well, these people are amazing. They do have a tip jars out but 100% of the tips go to local charities. Now THAT is something I don’t find offensive!! How selfless!! No wonder this place is lived so much! We will be back. Over and over!!

Visited during Tenderloin Tuesday BOGO! Amazing customer service – so kind & happy to see everyone. Small place so it gets packed fast but they were slinging tenderloins just as fast. Check this gem out for a quick lunch!

Best fish sandwich in the state. Huge, 4 pcs of fish on each sandwich. They also have breaded pork tenderloins that are delicious. I have been here several times and never got something I didn’t like.

I had never heard of this place before I stumbled on it one afternoon in November. I placed my order of the fish dinner. I watched as the gentleman piled fish fillets onto the plate. Then came the fried potatoes. My plate was overflowing with fish and fried potatoes. The fish was so tender and fried just right. The fried potatoes were a little crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. I fell in love with the place and have been back every time I can while in Columbus. The owner came to my table and asked how everything was, the lady who waited on me the second time was so polite and friendly. Did I mention that the tips I left go to local charities? This is a fabulous restaurant and the desserts are to cry for. Love it.

People always complain about local places with good food and service disappearing, well make sure that doesn’t happen and support Ye Olde Fish House. Our first visit was great, super friendly, hot crispy fish sandwiches, the best fried taters we’ve had since Grandma got out the cast iron and a gooey slice of pecan pie. We could’ve easily spent more at a fast food place and not have had half as good a time.
