We loved working with Allana and her team! They provided authentic doubles and tasty wings as our late-night bites during our wedding, and the food was a huge hit. Allana was incredibly flexible throughout the planning process, helping us create a menu that fit our budget and even providing samples to guide our choices. Professional, friendly, and truly a pleasure to work with. We look forward to supporting YaYa Trini Truck again in the future!

Tried for the first time yesterday. And this is the BEST Caribbean food I’ve had here in Maryland. Literally no competition. The customer service was kind and helpful and gave me a great recommendation. I got the stew chicken with cabbage and plantains. The food come out quick and and was so fresh and flavorful. And for $18 it was a heavy plate and definitely left me full. Nothing but satisfied with this food. You have a forever customer in me

The food truck came to my neighborhood on weds. I ordered a fish sandwich. I should have known not the eat it because the strong fishy smell. I have the worst food poisoning. Throw that fish away. I know food prices are high but as a food preparing if ever in doubt throw it away Response: It’s my fault for eating a small portion of it. You are correct. A refund would be great. Let me know your contact information .

I recently hire the Yaya’s food truck for a birthday event that I was having at my home. From the first inquiry, the customer service was excellent. Next, they also offer food tastings to ensure the flavor (salt, spice) is to your liking. The day of the event, they showed up before the scheduled time to ensure they meet the expectations of the contract. Additionally, I don’t order enough rice for my guest and they were generous enough to make more rice instead of telling my guest that no more rice was available. I definitely recommend Yaya’s Trini Food Truck.

This entire experience was amazing. I spoke with the owner and she was more than accommodating. I had a last minute request to cater an event of 100 people a week prior and Ms Allanna was more than accommodating. She even took into account my guests’ food allergies and was very attention to detail focused. I want to thank you personally for making my event a success all of my guest continue to rant and rave about how great the food is.you had kids who were veggie adverse eating all of their vegetables at a party! They also loved the idea of the food truck at the house which many of our guest have reached out in order to have the same idea. Thanks again. We really appreciate it!

If there is Caribbean around, please believe I am going to try it. Since I have found YaYa’s Trini Truck, she sees me AT LEAST once a week. I get curry chicken, rice and peas, cabbage and plantains EVERY TIME. Her food is flavorful and you get so much with even a small order. I made the mistake of getting a large order once, and it was too much for me. I will continue to return for as long as I am here in MD. And thank you for always recognizing me.

Much Love,

Ms. Toni with an I 🙂

My family and I traveled from NY to watch my niece and her band place in the DC 4th of July’s parade. From there we came on base to watch the fireworks. While we were there we walked alongside a couple of food trucks and of course came across this one. Now I am not a person to eat from a food truck, I’ve had bad experiences with them, however, my mum and her side of the family are from Trinidad and when we told her this truck was here she lit up. So we ordered. I ran a couple of jokes with them since they didn’t have my shark and bake and other items but let me say this. The food. Na I have to repeat myself. THE FOOD. hands down was delicious. The meat melted in my mouth, the roti OMG, the stew chicken, yes family you did you’ll thing. Made me forget I was in MD for a min, thought I was in Port of Spain T&T. The sorrel and Ginger beer were on Point. Nicely homemade. I must say, anytime I come back to MD, it’s a must I would have to go to the restaurant. It was more than a 5star. All de stars in the sky for this one. The workers great sense of humor. They showed much love. Thank you guys for my lovely dinner, my family enjoyed to the most high. Hope to see you guys soon. People a must go too. Unfortunately, food done before pictures were taken.

We had a last minute catering request for a family reunion and the owner was kind enough to provide our family with exceptional customer service and tasty trini cuisine! Her food truck was the highlight of the day, especially as it carries the same name as our matriarch

Thank you for making our reunion AMAZING
