Location was not very well displayed. Zero atmosphere for dining in. Carry out service was fast.
Salad appeared old yet tasted fine, mashed potatoes were like homemade and chicken was tasty.
Male cashier although somewhat friendly was not very professional as he chewed on a toothpick while waiting on me. Neither he nor the female who gave me my order seemed very happy to be working there.
The place definitely could use a shake up.

Not a pleasant experience tonight. Was told 8 mins for mashed potatoes I said that was fine. 28 mins later I finally get my food. The gentleman that ordered 10 mins after me got his food which was a large order before me. Judging by the look on my face the employee offered me a free drink. I was cool with that and said my wait was no problem and I appreciated it. After getting home I find out I didnt get any honey butter. What’s pita bread from Ya Yas without honey butter? Not a pleasant experience

14 dollars for a side salad is wild. Cost and service has gone the opposite way! Not to mention i have discovered multiple bones in my salad. Please dear god. Help this place become even half of what they used to be.

I’ve been hear a handful of times, but did not get around to writing this review until just now. I personally have always had very good if not great service here. The service has always been excellent, the workers are always friendly, and the food is to die for. I will recommend this to all of my fellow friends amd family members.

Seriously, it cost me just over $11 for this? Four pieces of tiny, cold, tasteless chicken? For goodness sake, I can buy a tray of four huge boneless skinless chicken breasts from ALDI for around this price, and also purchase the pita bread and make homemade mashed potatoes and gravy, coleslaw, baked beans, honey butter, etc. on my own. I can bet that my homemade YaYa’s meal with a seasoned chicken breast, two small sides, and a pita with butter would be less than half the price of a chicken dinner here!
No wonder YaYa’s is struggling to stay afloat. Before the original owners retired and sold the chain, YaYa’s rocked. They had some of the best homemade stuff you could buy. Now it’s a shell of its former self.
The only reason I’m giving two stars is because the guy behind the counter was friendly.

Drove from Swartz creek and as yummy as ever. The restaurant was clean and the staff working was super friendly, not mention super fast! I will agree ya yas is on the pricey end but it honestly always has been. Every once in a while we just crave the chicken Cesar salad, and they’re back to making their dressing !

New location is open. I ordered the shredded chicken salad. All fresh ingredients and dressing was made fresh not from a package! It’s nice to have a healthier chicken option in the area. Workers were friendly and professional. They are now using a salad mix though that includes carrot strips which throws the flavor off a little. I prefer how they used to make this salad including chopped up a little better. There were some big chunks of lettuce. Overall good experience and I’ll be back.

I ordered a bowl of chicken soup that turned out to be a bowl of noodles. There were around four tiny pieces of carrot and celery and ABSOLUTELY NO CHICKEN. Now add watered down broth!! For this I paid six dollars before tax. They did not charge me for the stale crackers.

went yesterday 1/2/26 ordered 2 dinners, salad was fresh, mashed potatoes were fine—-chicken was a total nightmare—-it is not FLAMED BROILED as the signed says, even the workers tell you AND THEY DIP THE CHICKEN IN A CONTAINER OF ???/ THEN let it drip off and place in a container –one 2 piece, one 3 piece to go no drinks—–$32.50—— back in the day that chicken was by far the best, not any more !!!

Ripped me off! I asked for a 2 piece white meal with an extra piece and a 2 piece dark meat. I got home and opened it up I had one piece of white meat and 2 dinky dark meat. What happened to the other 2 pieces of chicken?? $24.00 for 3 pieces of chicken and dry mac n cheese isn’t worth it. I opened the boxes and took the pics below with the receipt to show. Lesson learned, check your order before you drive 25 minutes back home. Waste of money.
