This was my first time having Jamaican food, and we’re lucky to have Yaso in Indy!! I tried the jerk chicken, beef patty and curry chicken. All were deliciously savory. I really enjoyed the cabbage that comes with each meal. My orders weren’t overly salty, and well balanced.

First time eating Jamaican food on the states. It was amazing on the island and I’ve craved it ever since my last visit. I cannot begin to express how amazing the food was! The jerk pork steak melted off the bone with every fork tear. A plastic fork! It was that tender! We were also blessed to be here on Sunday when they have the jerk pot roast. Every bit as tender but even more flavorful than the steak! I even devoured every bit of the steamed cabbage, wishing I had more! I took the remaining stewed juices and shoveled my beans and rice into it to absorb every flavor molecule I could! If you love amazing food I highly recommend Yaso!

Yaso Jamaican Grill hit the spot for lunch. I didn’t know about it before my colleagues told me about this Jamaican spot close to our office. I saw their plate and headed straight out the door to go over there and get mine. Service was friendly and helpful since it was my first time. The food was delicious and the prep time was acceptable. I had the jerk chicken dark meat meal with the beans & rice, cabbage, and plantains. It was a good size portion for lunch. I had the mild and sweet sauce on the side. I had the happy juice with mango added. I highly recommend Yaso’s to be an option in your list of places for lunch, or any meal.

Visiting Indianapolis for the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. National Convention. Saw Yaso Jamaican Grill’s many 5-star reviews and decided to give it try. So glad I did. First, the food is fresh and cooked to order- not to mention absolutely delicious!! My table ordered the curry shrimp, curry chicken and jerk chicken. Everything was seasoned to perfection….flavor, flavor and more flavor! I also recommend the tropical cake- downright yummy! I love Jamaican food and have tried many spots across the US……Yaso Jamaican Grill is definitely among the best.

Really good food. I had the curry goat and my friend had the jerk chicken and they were both excellent. The goat is tender and the plantains are perfectly cooked. The jerk sauces have a great smokiness to them. They also have some local beers on draught which is a nice accompanying feature

They brought it to Indianapolis! Clean atmosphere, beautiful scenery, good vibes, music, and they were so friendly. The food…incredible the red snapper was worth every 25 minutes, it even gave me the opportunity to see how it feels to be the majority when you catch the facial expressions like how I feel going to breakfast and I was so intrigued lol that part made my Sunday! Great experience, definitely will be back and recommend!

Last week my boyfriend and I went to Yaso Jamaican Grill. Since it was my first time trying Jamaican food, I decided to play it safe. I ordered the jerk chicken (mild), a rumchata pound cake, and a mango tropical rhythm drink. He ordered the curry chicken, a spice bun, and an apple flavored Bigga drink. Both entrees included rice & beans, plantains, and cabbage. Everything was flavorful and delicious! Especially that rumchata pound cake! This may sound weird, but eating that cake made me happy lol. It really did! Some things I would like to try in the future are their tilapia, red snapper, and spicy jerk chicken.
