3rd time here…The negative reviews here . We r from LA and Salvadorian roots….this is authentic food!!! We love it and drive from Rio Rancho as much as we can to visit y’all. Plus the made to order is important to us since we don’t eat cheese and y’all make it without for us❤️❤️❤️. Awesome food and service. #Cleanplates

I visited with a couple of my friends to try out the pupusas together. We’ve had pupusas elsewhere and were hoping this place would not disappoint. The staff was patient, friendly, and helpful. The food didn’t take very long at all, but that could be because there was only one other party of guests there – although other pupusa places have taken much longer to prepare the food regardless.

We ordered a variety of pupusas and they were all made fresh to order with creamy melted cheese oozing out as we cut into them
– way more cheese than normal and very delicious. They all had different flavors based on the filling and were all delicious, but we really enjoyed the rajas (poblanos) and zucchini the most. The plantains were nice and soft and delicious and the masa in the corn tamale was amazingly soft and moist, but the crema they brought with it was not sweet at all – which didn’t take away from it at all, but it said it would be sweet. The tomato soup on the side was nice and spicy and running, easily poured onto the pupusas as desired, and the cabbage was refreshing and perfect.

Overall it was a delicious meal and we will be back for more!

Food is not authentic at all. Workers are hella rude and lie. U can go here if u want ur pupusas to taste like quesadillas. They made my partner Feel stupid on purpose when they lied. Almost $20 for three pupusas!!! Authentic businesses sell multiple for $4-$3!! And the who I’m assuming is the owner was being passive aggressive as hell with my partner.

Went here based on other reviews raving about this place. Came out thinking these reviewers have never had Salvadorian food EVER. Food was ok not great, Pupusas are really small along with all the other portions. Overall I’d skip this place.

These were definitely NOT authentic Salvadorean Pupusas. I’ve tried several in my lifetime and these were NOT IT and the owner was rude when asking for more cabbage, for the humongous pupusas. I say humongous because the cheese and filling were NOT proportional AT ALL!! There was WAAAAAYYYY to much cheese (and I’m a cheese person). Be careful with the large bites as it’s a big mouthful of cheese and choking is a real possibility. One would assume that given the amount we ordered, we would be given a large portion of pickled cabbage but no, you only get a little ounce (and apparently they measure the cabbage). I went back to request for more cabbage and was told it’s an extra charge. If you’ve ever been to an AUTHENTIC Pupusa place, they give you a sandwich size bag and always have leftovers.

My recommendation is to drive to Santa Fe, NM and try “Pupuseria Y Lonchera La Providencia”, for a more authentic Pupusa experience.

They say “cuisine” but they don’t come close…I will never return….pupusas were burnt n had no flavor but masa. Even the curtido and salsa de tomate were horrible

Incredible pupusas at a great price! I loved the amount of vegetarian options. The spinach, bean, and cheese was my favorite, will definitely be coming back.

The waitress was very friendly no complaints there. The pupusas are big but they were bland in flavor. We also had the yucca and it was very dry. The cabbage and sauce were also bland. The only thing I did enjoy was the chicharrones that came with the yucca.
