Great restaurant and vibes! Went with a friend for dinner and did apps and sides. Everything was delicious however the must haves are the deviled eggs (jalapeno & jam), cornbread, the steak skewers (we tried all of them), and Brussels sprouts. The portions are good size and from what I saw the fried chicken looked fantastic!
The service was great from being greeted by the hostess to our waitress (Morgan was fantastic). The ambiance was nice they had fun upbeat music playing that night.
Highly recommend to check out this spot when in RiNo!

I went on a Sunday for a birthday brunch. I liked the vibes and atmosphere. I didn’t like the booth because it felt like sitting on a sunken couch, and the table was too high. We felt like kids who needed a booster seat. I ordered the chicken biscuit sliders and a wedge salad. The chicken was very dry and lacked any flavor. I rate it 4/10. The wedge salad was delicious and was a 10/10. My friends ordered the gravy sandwich and agreed that the chicken was very dry, and they also said the gravy was too salty. The server was not very friendly and seemed very annoyed the whole time. He completely ignored my drink and only refilled the mimosas and not my water. I was the only one not drinking alcohol. He was annoyed when we asked to split the tab. However, the female server/helper who cleared our plates for the next course was very friendly and polite. She even thanked us as we walked out.

First time dining here for a late Saturday lunch. The weather was very cold so it wasn’t full since most people weren’t venturing out.
The manager was very friendly and seated us at a very comfortable table in the middle room. Our waiter, Brian, was very attentive and gave us fantastic service, checking in with us regularly and making sure we had everything we needed. He made recommendations, answered questions and when I couldn’t decide between the cornbread or cinnamon roll he gifted me the roll! All the staff were friendly and made you feel welcome.
Both were delicious as we’re all the other dishes we enjoyed – fried green tomatoes, chicken & waffles, chicken burrito and the regular fried chicken.
The portions were generous and the food was delicious and better than a lot of fried chicken places we’ve visited in the past couple yours. We had a leisurely lunch and had leftovers to enjoy for later. We will definitely be back!

From calling and asking about reservations, to walking in with my four kids and husband..this place has made our dining experience amazing. We did not need a reservation, they seated us and made sure everything was wonderful for us. As a tourist from Texas, I would absolutely recommend this place.
The hostess and waiters were great, they helped us in every way and even accommodated my seven year old (picky eater). They have surpassed my expectations and I love it. Absolutely amazing place to dine.

Okay, the atmosphere is very good vibes. Super pretty and big and when packed the atmosphere is probably off the charts! Not busy at all tonight but that’s okay. They had happy hour till 6p which is cool and drinks are delicious. Got the chicken sliders and tasty 7/10. Drinks 8/10. Food i got wings, salad and Brussel sprouts. Wings 4/10 salad 8/10 sprouts 9/10. Uncle got shrimp and grits he said 8/10. Now our server chase um not super friendly. But the boys who brought our food 2 different ones were super kind but chase I wouldn’t want him again as server. Overall restaurant has great potential and would give it C+

This is a really nice looking spot in RiNo, but it is gigantic. Thus, it doesn’t feel busy and can actually feel a bit empty. The service seemed very slow. Everyone was pleasant and helpful, but our first drink order took nearly 25 min and there were only a few tables being served. Good food, but not amazing. It is quite expensive, but the portions seem appropriate for the cost. The deviled eggs were very dill-forward, which I loved, but this us not for everyone. The spicy chicken bite appetizer was excellent and had a wonderful amount of spice. The fried chicken was tasty, but a bit on the sweet side. The lobster Mac and cheese looked amazing, but was not as flavorful as I would have expected. My favorite item was the broccolini, which was perfectly cooked and a nice diversion from an otherwise unhealthy choice of dishes at our table. They also brought us the most enormous piece of cake that I have ever seen as a birthday treat. Overall, good. But it is expensive for the types of dishes and slow (but friendly) in terms of service.

This place is spectacular!! I came in for the first time on a solo brunch mission and was beyond impressed by the ambiance, the service, and the food selection. Everything was absolutely delicious- food and cocktails, alike. I was raised in the south and just moved here from Charleston, South Carolina and this is legit, perfectly cooked and seasoned elevated southern cuisine!! No short cuts tasted here!!! I am excited to go back and try out the rest of the menu!!!

First time at Bird Yard and I loved their menu. I tried the burger and it was delicious. My friends ordered the jambalaya pasta, and that was also delicious. Chef Jonathan came over to our table and was very kind in giving us recommendations. Great experience—I’ll definitely be back!

I would love to give Yard Bird five stars, the only thing that’s holding me back is the value you get for the food. Otherwise, the service and atmosphere is really solid.
Would I come back? Yes. But unfortunately, it wouldn’t be my first choice of restaurants in Denver, or in the area.
