This place is comfort food done right. The chicken and waffles are delicious and definitely the staple food of choice. The cornbread has the right hint of sweetness with bacon inside as an added bonus. The Mac and Cheese is off the charts. What I really appreciate about this restaurant is the atmosphere which gives off a comfortable, relaxing, vibe. The open kitchen lets you watch the food being prepared which was also a nice added touch. Whether you’re there on a romantic date or night out with friends, this spot provides a great experience. Definitely worth a visit if you love classic comfort food with a fresh, made-from-scratch feel.

My fiancé and I had the best celebratory brunch at yardbird! We’ve been coming here for about 10 years, when we visit Miami, we always make a reservation! It’s perfect for a yummy brunch then a walk to the convention center.
Our server, Kunika, was wonderful. She was attentive, listened to our stories about getting engaged and honestly just felt like visiting with a friend who keeps the espresso martinis coming!

First time at Yardbird! The atmosphere and the vibe here was great. The DJ’s music was on point and played at a volume that you could appreciate the music and enjoy your conversation too. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable and made great suggestions and answered any questions we had. The food was delicious. I have no complaints, all the traffic getting there was worth it! I would definitely recommend and go again.
We had Lewellyn’s Fine Fried Chicken and the Low & Slow Brisket Dip. With freshly squeezed orange juice & blackberry iced tea. Amazing!

We came because of the great reviews. My family and I were one of their first guests for Sunday morning brunch. As suggested we had the chicken and waffles, burger with pork belly, bacon and a side of fries. We also had the all american.
The food didn’t live up to the hype. The chicken was fried to perfection but lacked flavor. The waffle was just ok. The burger and fries were the star of the show. The all american eggs were cooked too hard and the biscuit was dry, the hash brown although shaped different was just ok. For $140 for 3 people, no drinks, I wasn’t impressed.
The waitress was friendly and helpful.

Just left for brunch our server Kunika S was amazing! She was so welcoming and friendly as soon as she got to our table! While we had some timing issues with the food she kept checking on us and we as very accommodating and tried to offer a solution. Anyone who visits should ask to be in her section! If you are in the area this is a place you should definitely check out. We had a party of three, our server Kunika was excellent. We ordered multiple entrees and sides and had them family style. A must is the St Louis ribs! The ribs were excellent, interesting presentation, the ribs were stacked like smokey jenga blocks, seasoned just right. Another favorite Lewellyns fried chicken, sides: mamas mash, and southern street corn, which had a little bite to it, it was interesting combination of flavors. Everything was prepared and served as ordered. The entire staff was attentive and friendly. Our server was busy since it was Saturday night but she paid attention. All in all, we will definitely visit again, food and service was excellent!

Ordered was spent Thanksgiving here and food was delicious. Our waiter Edwin was super patient and accommodating with our table as we had 3 kiddos in our party of 7. Wedge salad was good, nice balance of dressing. Fine Fried Chicken was crispy, moist and well-seasoned. But the highlight was the Lobster Mac and Cheese! Atmosphere was real chill, perfect for a date night.

Soooo good. Lovely restaurant. The decor looks like a Southern Living magazine spread. The drinking glasses are actually re-purposed wine bottles. Food was very good. I loved the shrimp and grits. The presentation was beautiful and, most importantly, the food was delicious and tasted so fresh.
