I’ve ordered from here a few times now. The food is excellent. Today I had the barbifried chicken. The flavor was good and the chicken was juicy and tender. Mac n cheese is the bomb, so is the potato salad. Portion sizes are generous. I always have enough for two meals.

My kids said mom this doesn’t taste like our normal Jamaican spot. I said nope it wasnt.
The portion sizes are skimp you get get more sides than meat. I bought the $60 food coupon on Groupon , total was $68 then i tipped $12 like the coupon asked.
So for a total of $80 this was the amount of food I got. No it wasnt worth it and I would NEVER pay this much for this portion of food. Its like they are trying to SAVE the meat. Like they take a breast split it in 4 pieces and call that a portion size, very stingy .

The oxtails were tough, small and dry and I was super disappointed, no flavor or gravy. The curry chicken sauce was good and the rice and peas was good. The cabbage was cool but the mac and cheese reminded me of stouffers and awful. The loaded fries was decent , but dry my son didnt like them.
I have had better flavored food and portion sizes so yea I have other restaurants to compare to. No i will not be returning, glad I finally tried it. Customer service was cool BUT overall 5/10 experience. The wait was 20-30 mins

We tried goat curry, chicken curry, and jerk chicken & loved the food; it was flavorful and tasty. However, the smell inside the restaurant was unpleasant; they may need to change the room freshener. Additionally, the service was below average. After taking the order, nobody showed up until the food arrived. I had to walk to the front desk couple of times for water/napkins etc. Only for food 4*.

This place has a solid menu of Jamaican staples. There aren’t many places in Cincy that can compete with what they offer. I ordered ahead online, which is pretty convenient, but I ended up having to wait 10 minutes beyond the ETA. I went with the kingfish plate. I like the different preparation options they have for each fish, and I went with pineapple jerk. Overall, it had very mild flavor, and mostly tasted like a plain piece of fish — it could have used a lot more jerk seasoning/sauce. However, the sides were excellent. The rice and peas had great flavor and some nice subtle heat. The plantains (fried sweet and pressed green) were both very good. The overall portion was good for the price. Maybe I’ll come back to try another meat and see if this eas just a one-off with the fish. The place has potential!

The atmosphere was nice! However, I was a bit disappointed in the food and the service. The host/server seems to not like to talk much and doesn’t have good communication skills. My food was Luke warm when I finally received it after waiting so long. There weren’t many menu items to chose from as they were “out” of everything. Perhaps it was an off day.

If I COULD GIVE MORE THAN 5 STARS, I WOULD. I ordered large trays of jerk chicken, rice and peas, festival, and plantain for my mom’s 70th birthday party. The food was ordered at the last minute. However, the owner worked his magic to make the order in time for the birthday party. This is greatly appreciated. Everyone loved the food. This is real good authentic Jamaican food. I wish the restaurant was closer to me because I would order more food often. Food was absolutely GOOD. I will be a returning customer. Thank you. (IN MY JAMAICAN VOICE….BIG UP YOURSELF LOL)THANK YOU AGAIN FOR THE DELICIOUS FOOD
