I came to this restaurant for the first time I was recommended here as we were ordering our food. There was a young lady in the back did not catch. Her name seems to be Young had very long hair with some pink dye to it a light skin girl she has a very nasty attitude when you’re asking about food and what they have and what is available attitude like this will not make me come back. The manager of the owner needs to have this addressed ASAP or this will scare customers away I also saw a man coming in as well and ask what was on the menu and she was rude to him and he even just walked out. Otherwise, the food is good. That is what’s going to save people to come back, but If the customers are not being treated right, there will not make any money

i’ve walked past this restaurant many times. Finally stepped in to enjoy its cuisine. It was delicious. There were three of us, I ordered the Curry, shrimp. Large portions, for a decent price. We sat inside, with Limited space. Total of three, two person tables. Theyhave a nice area in front of the restaurant to sit at during the summer.

Yard Jerk is awesome! The jerk chicken was delicious and spicier than other places. The beef patty, rice and peas and cabbage were also delicious. They had a display of different foods that all looked so good. Can’t wait to go back!

Yard Jerk food is usually good. However it doesn’t always hit the mark. My experience this morning was messed up. I asked the server what meat was in the stew peas, she told me chicken foot. So I decided to get the soup instead. I don’t really like chicken foot. She said there was no chicken foot in the soup. I see her and the other server laughing. I knew there was chicken foot in the soup because of the way they were acting. Before I ate it I checked and there was the foot. Nothing against chicken foot but I don’t like it. Just my preference. Thank God I’m not allergic to it. Which is rare. If somebody say that they don’t want something you DON’T slip it in their food. My review is they can’t be trusted!!!!! Who knows what else is in the food…They just lost a customer for some dumb stuff! That’s what people do to your business when you’re not there. They make dumb moves…that’s why businesses are losing customers and closing down.

I spent $25 on oxtail , and the entire portion of oxtail was all FAT! They wouldn’t give me my money back or swap out my food for something else. So I had to pick through all the fat. I’m so pissed off. This is evil and not how you treat your customers. The guy just wanted to argue I’m like I’m literally showing you the food. SMH TERRIBLE!

This place used to be good but I don’t know what happened. I am so turned off by this place I have to let everyone know. I called to order food a week ago and the food was not only disgusting but the portions was small for the price. I ordered two fried chicken dinner and two oxtail. I told the man over the phone that I wanted oxtail gravy on my chicken and when I opened the bag to my surprise there was no gravy on the chicken he just threw a little gravy on the rice and the chicken was so dry I almost choked. And not to mention it was burned so it seemed as if they re-fried the chicken because they were too lazy to fry a fresh batch. My sister even said that it seemed as if the re-fried the chicken she didn’t enjoy her meal either. And worst of all their portion is small my parents both ordered oxtail when my father opened the bag he was so upset to see the portion they shared for us. To add injury to insult my mom ordered a cow foot soup and the yam and dumplings were burned and there was no meat just bone. Never again I felt so disgusted and disappointed in this place because I thought it was a great spot but I will be returning to this place again and will let others know to avoid this place.

I’ve visited a few times before and always came back for the food, even though the atmosphere and service were never particularly warm. I understand how tough the restaurant industry can be, having worked in it myself, so I never minded much.
Unfortunately, this last visit was disappointing. The food, which used to be the highlight, really missed the mark—it lacked flavor and felt off, almost unrecognizable. I’m not sure if something changed in the kitchen, but it just wasn’t the same.
I travel 30 minutes just to eat here, but sadly, I think this might have been my last visit.

Sometimes when people tell us something, we may tend to get wrong and strong. Today I watched the lady serve an older man and try to take another person’s order. The man said focus on me because while you’re doing that, meaning his first order, then he would decide on the next order. Then turn around, take the next person order and take mines, even thou I said finish up. I felt uncomfortable because it held up the person infront of me. It is better to deal with one person at a time, instead of getting upset that you didn’t hear the other person clearly. Hear I was about to tell the old man he was wrong, then I felt led to not say anything. Only for the same thing to happen to me. I know she was trying to multi-task but, don’t have an attitude in the end. I am thankful to have watch the lesson, sometimes when we are the one doing the multi-tasking, it may work in one situation, but not in another.
