It was my first visit to the Park Meadows Yard House. We sat at the bar and ordered drinks and food. The menu has a diverse selection of dishes. So, you should have no problem in finding something that you enjoy.

I had the best server and the food was pretty good but here is another restaurant that wants me to enter in my own orders on a stupid little pad. I’m OCD I don’t want to touch those things they are nasty. And sure enough there was a big chocolate spill on this one. It’s gross. I’m paying to be served like why am I entering in my own orders on a pad? I just really hate that and I will never like restaurants that are having me order my own food like it’s just the same as the self checkout at the grocery store. Who works there? Am I the customer or am I the employee? I really can’t tell.

The food was good but on the expensive side which I understand for some is not a turn off. I was, however, blown away by the deposition of the staff. They all had smiles and got along quite well! They were a great unit and I appreciated that. Happy staff= happy customers, great experience!

This place is big and busy, but you wouldn’t know it by the attentiveness of our waitress or the speed of our food being served. Kudos to Yardhouse for great lunch service on a Sunday. I had a 20 oz. ribeye with broccoli, mashed potatoes, and a $5 add-on of grilled shrimp to make it a surf and turf. I was shocked at the quality of the steak (which was cooked right on the money @ medium rare). It was just as good if not better than some actual steakhouses I’ve eaten at. The sides were all great as well. The wife had their Poke Nachos, which I sampled and can say were damn tasty. She concurs. This appetizer took up more table space than my steak plate. The ahi was seared perfectly, the wontons were like air crisp tortilla chips, the avocado was plentiful, and the serranos were fresh. The sauce was an amalgamation of white truffle sauce, sweet soy ginger sauce, and sriracha aïoli. It’s a beautiful flavor combination. To wash it down, we had their passion fruit tea and peach tea, neither of which disappointed. I often hate Park Meadows mall restaurants, but Yardhouse knocked it out of the park on this meal. We shall return!
