Very simple fare but tasty. Loved the festive indoor tree decor. Vibe felt very authentic. Menu is geared toward meat lovers. No seafood and the one chicken item on the menu was not available. Tortilla chips were good and I loved the green salsa they brought to the table. Prices were reasonable.

We had such a wonderful meal at Yaqui! Very friendly and welcoming, wonderful service! The food was delicious – all homemade and super fresh! And such a cheerful atmosphere. Yenny was our server and was delightful. I would definitely recommend coming!

I got 3 different tacos to try. The calabacitas taco and the cochinita tacos are a little smaller portions, the yaqui taco is bigger. All full of flavor, we ordered chiles toreados to accompany them. Nostalgic, home-made feel.
Will be trying other dishes next time!
Service was great, the restaurant space is festive and artistic. Chips and salsa were also great flavors

We came here when they first opened and I was not impressed. They continue to get great reviews and I dont know why. My wife talked me into giving them a 2nd chance. There will not be a 3rd. They should be embarassed to charge $4 for a tiny 1 bite taco.
In addition to ridiculously over priced tacos the service was so slow. We sat for almost 20 minutes after ordering our drinks before they even brought us water. Almost a half hour before our margs and beers came. There were only 6 other tables seated. To top it off, they ran out of tequila and beer so we couldnt get a 2nd drink. Im not sure how this place stays in business. Far better tacos just a couple blocks away.

The atmosphere is perfect for dining and wonderfully appointed with soft twinkle ceiling lights and plenty of space. I chose to sit at the bar and ordered a Paloma, charro beans and two carne asada tacos. They supplied me with chips and salsa. The salsa was light, well proportioned and tasty. The chips were your common restaurant style. The tacos came with plenty of carne asada and the right amount of onions, cilantro and cabbage. Topped with a squeeze of lime they were delicious. The charro beans were a highlight as well and really enjoyed them. The portion is small and I could have eaten a few more spoonfuls. So good! My Paloma was a fine concoction of the classic drink with a tajin rim. Everyone on staff is very friendly and helpful. This was my first visit and I plan to go back and try other dishes. One note: they do have a calabacitas taco on the menu for your vegetarian/ vegan friends. And the chimichanga can be made vegetarian as well.
Quality Mexican food served by wonderful people that won’t break your bank.

Absolutely love this place completely bonded with the owner over the art of cooking and the love that goes into the creating traditional dishes. The owner is so kind and a loving gentleman that sat with us and talked and we even shared some tears of joy as my fiancé and I stopped into have lunch the day before our wedding and was gifted the most delicious mezcal whiskey I’ve ever had in my life food was top tier atmosphere top tier plan on having dinner for Valentine’s Day with my wife when we visit next weekend!

Stopped in here for lunch for the first time – it’s a cute little spot and nice inside. Our server was great, very accommodating and attentive. The restaurant serves chips and salsa by default, we ordered a side of guacamole with the Yaqui burritos. The main dish was not bad, but something about the flavor was a bit odd, can’t quite identify what didn’t fully agree with me but it felt like the dish had an unusual aftertaste, little bit of a greasy taste. My friend sent hers back and the server graciously exchanged her entree for another dish (Barbacoa tacos) which was very good. Will come here again at some point to give it another go-it’s a nice spot just wasn’t convinced this time with the food we ordered. Great service and very reasonable prices though.

Authentic, excellent food! Ordered the Calabacitas vegetarian taco, roasted corn and the Yaqui taco with steak. ALL of it was great with a nice selection of salsas, I couldn’t decide which was the best. Service was wonderful and we felt welcomed by the owner who took the time to make tequila recommendations. He let us know they are in the process of expanding thier space, for more seating and private catered events which I am looking forward to for a party! It’s not done yet, but looking equally as well designed as the primary area. This place is good for takeout, lunch or dinner dates in a nice ambiance, authentic food with some vegetarian options, outside patio seating, and private events.

We dined in at Yaqui Taco, which had been on our list for a while since it’s close to home. We were seated quickly, and the space has a casual, relaxed vibe.
Unfortunately, the service really impacted our experience. There were only a couple of servers and our server was largely absent. Drinks arrived after our tacos, and when our food was dropped off, we were asked what else we had ordered — even though we had already placed the full order. No one checked back in, and we weren’t provided plates or silverware. Sauce for the tacos was also forgotten and had to be requested.
The food is fine but overall, not the best experience, especially considering we were one of only a few tables when we arrived. Hoping this was just an off night.

Just got back from dinner at my friend’s restaurant and had to share—everything was spot on. The food was incredibly fresh, and the atmosphere had that perfect mix of clean and cozy. You can tell there’s heart behind it. Can’t wait to go back!
