Loved this store, very clean and fun looking. Lots of stuff you can buy like little treats/snacks , unique drinks, and palestine stickers, hats, bags bracelets etc! The food was good, my friend got the cavepi sandwich, which unfortunately the bread became a soggy mush by time he ate it (which we ate right away at the store). Other then that it was good. I had the gyro salad which was simple and flavorful. They have ice cream and such here as well that we did not try but sounded yummy!

Everything is great about this place. The service is amazing. The food even better. If you want an amazing meal, come on down to Yapi. Sure the parking might suck. But the food is worth it, made with love.

My wife and I hit this new spot in our neighborhood for lunch today. She got the Loaded Fries with buffalo chicken and I got the Gyro Supreme. Both entrées were killer! Service was prompt and friendly.
The hummus is yummus just a little lacking on the garlic. Haven’t tried the baklava yet but it looks fantastic! I suggest checking it out. Next time I’ll be getting a burger.

I ordered through Grubhub so I can’t speak on the service or atmosphere but the Gyro wrap I got was delicious. Plenty of meat, I could have used more sauce so the next time I would ask for more. The fries were tasty & I’m sure if I had dined in, they would have tasted better. First time trying them, won’t be my last!

EDIT: was able to finally go to Yapi’s new location. It is quaint. High ceilings in a historic building along Vandeventer. There is a strange change in the floor elevation near the checkout that has a step down that should be appreciated with caution. I liked having access to a soda fountain and ice.
I ordered the gyro salad and my friend had the grilled chicken salad. Both were served in an artistic manner with abundant meat on top of the lettuce and tomatoes and cucumbers and sliced banana peppers (which I decided not to eat, but they would have left them off if I had mentioned it when ordering.)
I again enjoyed my dinner from Yapi. Parking is a bit challenging, with only street parking available. However, we found a spot easily.

A very cozy place. I ordered a Supreme Chicken Gyro and it was FANTASTIC and the portions are big. I haven’t asked but my guess is that the bread was freshly baked in house, the chicken was very well marinated. The sauce was divine. I would definitely recommend that. The manager was an extremely nice lady, she walked me through the different items on their menu and answered all my questions. The bathrooms are very clean. Also the place has Halal meat and chicken.

Yapi’s has some of the tastiest Mediterranean food I’ve had! My sister and I dined in for lunch after checking out MOCRA on SLU’s campus just down the road. We Googled “lunch places near me” and came across Yapi’s. The woman who took our order (should have asked her name) was very personable, kind, and helped us make informed decisions about our order.
The space was well-decorated and clean. I ordered the Philly Sub with a side of fried pickles. Italian subs are my very favorite sandwich, but this really changed the game. It tasted similarly to an Italian sub, but had melted cheese and sauteed cucumbers. It was rich, savory (exactly what I was looking for), and quite filling. I can’t wait to return and order another. The fried pickles were also delicious and reheated well in the air fryer at home. My sister ordered the gyro supreme. It was double or triple what she could eat (as she was warned, haha), but she was happy to have leftovers. She also ordered falafel. We took home more than half of what we ordered and only spent $34 between the both of us. I was very pleased with their prices, I feel like I haven’t seen anything priced that low in the city in years- and for such a delicious menu!

Loved all the flags from all over the world. The service was ok she was friendly. My husband got the sausage sandwich he said the bun was wet and the meat didn’t have much flavor. I got the gyro it tasted ok. The fries were not so great. We got cheese on the fries. It tasted like can nacho cheese. Not what we expected for $40.
