We had a reservation confirmed for Valentine’s Day. We arrived 10 minutes early and it took forever for the hosts to get to us (granted they were busy). They said we can’t find your reservation in the system. We pulled up the confirmation and showed them. Still can’t find it. Ok, do you have space for 2? Yes at the sushi bar, but then they never led us over or let us pass. Just started helping other guests while we tried advocating for our confirmed reservation. We showed them the confirmation again and the hostess reaffirmed she didn’t have anything under our name and then started helping other guests. They made it abundantly clear they had no intention or desire to figure this out or serve us. What was meant to be a romantic Valentine’s dinner date has turned into us being turned out into the cold. Do not recommend at all.

Beautiful presentation. Fun beverages. Fabulous sushi. Came in with no expectations, but the 4 of us were so excited to try for the first time. We will definitely be back and bring friends. Highly recommend. Lenox needed a quality Asian restaurant now we’ve got one!!!

Discovered this gem when walking around Lenox on a cold December day. Decided to give it a try. Classy and tastefully decorated interior, gave way to friendly and dignified service. Food was excellent and prices reasonable by any standards,low for Lenox. We have a new favorite restaurant in this pricey town. Wonderful surprise. Great menu with many choices from Thai to Japanese and sushi too. Very high quality ingredients. Full bar too. Definitely coming back.

Excellent food and vibes. Absolutely recommend the curry ramen, the fantasy roll, and the Asian margarita specifically. It was really busy on a Saturday night even without the usual Lenox crowds, so you know it’s popular! If you’re in the area, definitely check this place out. Xoxo

This was a cute place in a cute town. It was quite busy when I came in with my mom on a Friday night. We were led to sit at the sushi bar. Not much elbow space, and we were a bit confused on how to order. Eventually we received complimentary water and had a chance to review the menu. I ordered the seafood noodles which were delicious.
We spent the whole time watching the chefs carefully craft sushi orders, and I felt so jealous! Everything was clean and plated in an artistic fashion. We finished off with a piece of matcha cheesecake. It was a small portion, but cutely garnished with berries and whipped cream.

My wife and I celebrated my birthday here, and it was perfect. Our server, who introduced himself as being from Indonesia, was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. The food was fresh and delicious. We especially loved the salmon sushi and sashimi. The spider roll was crispy and flavorful, definitely a must-try!
They even surprised us with a special cake to celebrate, which was such a thoughtful touch. From the food to the service, everything was top-notch. You can tell they really care about their guests and go the extra mile.
Highly recommend this spot—honestly, the best Asian food in Berkshire (and we’ve tried a lot of places!). Just a heads-up: it can get pretty busy, so making a reservation is a good idea.

We’re visiting the area and staying in Lee. Tonight, we craved sushi and Asian food. Checked the reviews for Yao Asian Fusion in Lenox and took a chance. Ordered my favorites online and included some special instructions as well. Very pleased! Everything was prepared beautifully and to order. The sushi was delicious, and my husband’s General Tsao’s Tofu was equally good. Glad we took a chance. Highly recommend.
