This was my first time trying luosifen after hearing so many rave reviews about authentic Liuzhou noodles. It turned out to be incredibly satisfying. The broth was rich and deeply flavorful, layered with that distinctive tangy aroma that makes luosifen so unique. The bowl was filled with a colorful variety of toppings — crunchy bamboo shoots, peanuts, tofu skin, pickled vegetables, protein of my choice, and tender noodles soaking up the soup. The specially prepared vinegar on the side added another bright, aromatic dimension and showed the chef’s attention to detail.
The restaurant itself was clean and inviting, with tasteful decor and nostalgic Chinese songs playing softly in the background, creating a warm and lively atmosphere. My friend, who is a longtime regular here, laughed and warned me that once you develop a taste for this flavor, it tends to pull you back again and again. I’m beginning to think she may be right.

This was my first time trying this restaurant after it was recommended by a neighbor, and I was pleasantly surprised. Every dish I ordered tasted great.
We had the beef burrito, beef chow fun, beef brisket luosifen, garlic stir-fried pea shoots, and the Northeast crispy sweet and sour pork. Everything was flavorful and well prepared.
I will definitely be coming back again.

The staff and the owner was super friendly and patient. Willing to answer any questions we had and allows us the time to decide without being pushy.
Definitely get the popcorn chicken. It is a Taiwanese night market specialty.
The menu is rather extensive, but start with their signature, Luosifen noodles. The portion is rather generous so you will be satisfied!

Overall an interesting find. They have some more unique dishes for a particular province in China – closer to Hanoi, Vietnam, and they have some Taiwanese twists.
The burrito was tasty with familiar flavors. The soup was a tad funky for me. It was also wildly rich, not a bad thing if you can take a nap afterwards. The funk was a new flavor, so was open to it, but ultimately not something I would order again, but respect it.
Their menus are over four years old, so the prices are not accurate. They ask that you download WeChat to get the up to date prices, but that creates a whole other issue.

Wonderful dining experience at Yanzi Noodle House! We were warmly welcomed and because it was my first meal there, I really enjoyed an introduction to the menu l that was unlike any food I had tried before. The beef brisket luosifen had a complex savory broth and wonderful flavors and textures including noodles that tasted like they were freshly made, peanuts, bok choy, crispy fried soy wrap(not sure of the name) and fermented green beans, along with the beef. The “secret vinegar” in a little pot at the table was a great flavor addition. Enjoyed the atmosphere (Chinese music was playing over the speakers the evening we were there) and a visit from the chef who coached me on adding the vinegar. The atmosphere in the restaurant is cozy and was a great retreat on a cold evening.

Small and cozy restaurant at Fairfax, great customer service, it was our first time there and they explained us in detail and gave us recommendations. I tried the beef luosifen with a fried egg on the top, it was amazing, all flavors! and my boyfriend got the beef burrito which was very good as well! I would definitely recommend and would come back

First time trying the Beef Luosifen at Yanzi Noodle House and it was a revelation! That savory, sour, and deeply aromatic broth is an absolute winner—especially if you love the tangy profiles of Filipino Sinigang or Thai Tom Yum. An incredible and comforting bowl. We can’t wait to come back and get our fix while soup season is at its peak

We were craving something warm on a cold evening and are thankful to have found this place. The Luosifen noodles were unlike anything I’ve tried before with a broth that was warm, inviting, and the right amount of spice with the chili oil. Do not miss the beef burrito…it is superb. The owner was super kind and explained the dishes to us. Can’t wait to go back!

My favorite noodle place in the area. The luosifen is sooo delicious. The pig feet noodle soup is my favorite– the fried bean curd, pickled veggies, chewy pig feet, and savory spicy broth go so well together. Can’t get it anywhere else. My friends and I drive over an hour to come here and the trip is always worth it.
