A little hidden gem!! My husband and I ate at YanZi tonight for the first time. The decor is nice, I like the booths that are private and quiet for this small space. They have a full liquor bar with any cocktail you like. The food pretty much speaks for itself. If you’re a foodie, you’ll appreciate the blend of flavors and ingredients in each dish. We had the octopus for appetizer (pictured) it is so tender and soft and then fire roasted to perfection accompanied with fire roasted corn. My husband ordered the Diver scallops ( he absolutely loved the dish) and I had the rack of lamb with the vegetable accompaniment. Wow! Melt in your mouth herb crusted lamb chops with this flavorful green pesto. I loved every bite! I should have taken a photo to post it. The chef and owner Yan (her American name is Grace) is humble and quiet as she cooks right there in front of the restaurant. It actually makes me feel better when I can see where and how my food is being prepared. We will definitely be back to try more of the dishes on the menu!

Took my wife here for her birthday and we had such a magnificent time. The food was amazing and the service was great!
The food was cooked perfectly but what really set each of our plates apart were the different sauces. I had the grouper which was crispy and light, but the mango salsa really elevated the dish while keeping it balanced(sweet, salt, acid, fat). My wife had the rack of lamb which she allowed me a taste and similarly, the vegetable sauce that was on her plate really lifted the flavors. We all but licked our plates clean.
The service was also very lighthearted and fun. It was a Wednesday so it wasn’t too crowded. Nick, our server, had a wealth of knowledge about the menu and recommended a wine that paired perfectly with both our meals.

Tonight we enjoyed an amazing dinner at Yanzi in Suntree—a spot you absolutely must try! Our server, Nick, was wonderfully knowledgeable about the menu and clearly proud to be part of the Yanzi team, and it showed in his attentive service. Every dish is made from scratch, so our meal took a little longer than a typical dinner, but it was well worth the wait. We savored the Bao Buns, Dumplings, Duck, Scallops, and Ramen—each one exceptional. We’ll definitely be back, and no matter where you’re coming from, it’s worth the drive. Highly recommend!

Incredible experience from start to finish! Nick was an amazing server—friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Grace, the chef and owner, is absolutely wonderful. Her passion shines through in every dish.
We loved the bread course to start, followed by rich and flavorful soup dumplings. The beef short ribs were packed with flavor, the grouper was cooked to perfection (the crispy skin was amazing), and the duck was absolutely outstanding—moist and beautifully presented.
Everything was five stars. Can’t wait to go back!

Brooks was our server and he’s absolutely fantastic. He makes the best pink lady drink. We had a bottle of wine also. The food is fabulous. The chef came over to ask how it was. We told her everything was wonderful and it was beautifully prepared. This is our second time and we brought family this time. It was absolutely fabulous and worth going.

My husband and I chose to celebrate our wedding anniversary at Yanzi. We had read the glowing reviews and decided to give it a try.
From the moment we walked through the door we were greeted like family. Our server, Nick was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and receptive to our celebration. Grace, the chef owner prepared an amazing meal. The Soup Dumplings, Chilean Sea Bass and Shrimp and Grits were excellent.
Please take our advice and visit Yanzi for your next night out.

Our experience was nothing short of amazing! From the accommodating and pleasant service of the wait staff (Nicholas), to the kind personal attention and adaptation of the menu for our table’s food sensitivities from Chef Grace, to the absolutely delicious food and their presentation, we cannot praise this restaurant enough! It is a scratch kitchen. Everything is fresh, and prepared upon order. You can watch the Chef prepare your meal in the open kitchen. You can take your time with sipping wine or cocktails, enjoying each course and the entire dining experience. This is not anything like a chain restaurant experience…quite the opposite! Also, for the quality of the meal and portions, the price points of the entrees were quite reasonable. I had the Duck (I had one of the accompaniments served on the side, which Chef Grace happily accomodated) and my husband had the Australian Prime Strip (with modifications for food sensitivities…once again, happily accommodated by Chef) as our entrees. We would highly recommend both…but also look forward to trying new menu offerings next time, as everything coming out of the kitchen looked sensational! We plan to be back many many times!
