Was very excited to try this new patisserie in wynwood. The desserts were beautiful and tasted wonderful. They didnt have any really great seasonal latte options which i would like to see in the future. The truffle fries were bomb! Will def be back to try other items. The only disappointment was the service was not good. We had to keep reminding our service to bring us things like napkins, water, and drinks that we ordered. Not sure if they need more servers or what.

I visited yesterday Yann Couvreur Patisserie, with high expectations, especially after hearing great things, but overall the experience was just okay.

I ordered a flat white. The coffee itself tasted good, but it wasn’t hot enough, and the cup, while clean, hadn’t been dried properly. There were water droplets on it, which made it feel a bit rushed, and we had to wipe the cup before even taking a photo.

We also ordered two glasses of water. Unfortunately, they were brought by hand rather than on a tray, with a lot of direct contact and some water splashing. Because of that, we didn’t feel comfortable drinking them.

Another small disappointment was the dessert counter. It was around 3:45 pm and the café was closing at 6 pm, yet there were very few desserts on display. For an upscale café, I would expect a fuller presentation so customers can see what’s available.

That said, the staff was friendly, the hand lotion in the restroom was good and the coffee flavor itself was good. With more attention to service details and presentation, the experience could be much better.

Loved this restaurant! The vibe upon entering was very welcoming and the service was friendly. To start we had the fish burger and fries which was delicious (!!!) and the tuna toast wasabi. I would definitely go back and order those again. Every bite was packed with flavor.

Of course we had to get desserts. We wanted to try the cheesecake matcha and the croissant but unfortunately those were sold out. Instead we had galette des rois, strawberry French cake, pineapple cake, and the brioche with pearl sugar. Everything was delicious and it was obvious that they were thoughtfully made. We met the pastry chef and we learned that he used to be a pastry chef at Dominique Ansel in NYC – which I am a big fan of!

10/10 would come back when I’m in Miami again✨

We had an incredible experience at this restaurant! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in. The food was absolutely delicious every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. But what truly made our visit special was the service. Nicolas, our waiter, was amazing attentive, friendly, and genuinely made sure we had the best experience possible.

And the desserts… wow! Each one was perfection rich, fresh, and beautifully crafted. You can tell a lot of love and detail goes into their menu. We left completely satisfied and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for excellent food, top-notch service, and unforgettable desserts!

I’ll be nice. It’s a beautiful place. A tourist on the go with no regards for flavor will enjoy this place.
$34 for the blandest experience ever. They didn’t even melt the cheese only tuna melt (event fare sending it back) Stick to the desserts and coffee if you come here.

If you want flavor, go to cafe novella – just a few blocks over where the price and flavor match. Or la sandwecheria – you’ll pay $20 bucks for a much better sandwhich experience.

The pastries are great here. Croissant is beautifully crafted, not just pretty-for-Instagram but actually delicious, flaky and buttery.

The space is clean, modern, and stylish, but it’s worth noting that seating can feel a bit packed, especially during busy hours.
All that said, the quality more than makes up for it.

The food is really good and I was happy to see they make things in house. Portions are substantial and have some good options for sharing. The coffee is pretty good but I wouldn’t say its the reason you should go. We arrived for breakfast well after they opened but they didnt seem prepared for guests yet.

Disclaimer: I only tried one drink.
The place is beautiful; I was a bit disappointed by the small selection of pastries (I know Yann Couvreur in Paris and they have many more pastries/sweets to choose from) and none was really enticing to me so I just ordered the strawberry matcha latte, which was such a letdown. You can see the color of the drink once mixed: not good. The matcha was very bitter and not the vibrant green color of good matcha and the strawberry “thing” at the bottom of the glass was so incredibly flavorless; the whole drink was very bitter, not sweet at all and tasteless. I am no matcha expert but, matcha or not, this drink was terrible.

Heygaan
This was ever so slightly the second best Viennoiserie I’ve had in North America next to Chez Pottier in Montreal. Best in the USA. The pasty chef proudly came over and showed me an award officially making this spot the best Croissant in Florida.

I out of a passion for baking and pastries seek out the best and most innovative pastries wherever I go. The next best US option is arguably the Pain au Chocolat from the Allis in Chicago.

I’m giving this place 5 stars and wholeheartedly recommend anyone without gluten issues to go here, but… the service was… confusingly… medium.

Empty café open for 30 min, they’re still setting up the fresh baked pastries. I was seated fast and asked if I wanted a drink. I ordered a triple shot latte (great quality btw) “with either an Almond Croissant or a Pain au Chocolat, whichever is available.” The server asked ‘A plain croissant?’ “Oh sorry – an AL-MOND croissant… or a pan au chocolat, please.” He nods, walks away, brings me a latte, ~3 minutes later brings me a plain croissant. I immediately say ‘Oh sorry (I’m Canadian I say sorry a lot), I wanted an AL-MOND CROISSANT, not a regular croissant.’ Pause. ‘I’m so sorry.’ I can see like a dozen pan au chocolats in the display 20’ in front of me. Minutes later, he brings me an egg sandwich made from a croissant. I say to him “Sir… this is not an Almond croissant.” There’s now one other table seated btw. “No, it’s an egg croissant.” “I asked for an AL-MOND CROISSANT or a Pan Au Choc-o’lat… Please ” “… we don’t have almond croissants.” “Then can I please have a pan au chocolat (pointing at the pan au chocolats in the display).” “I’m so sorry, yes, right away. I’m so sorry.” I get my pan au chocolat. And I ordered the eggs Florentine. “On brioche or on a croissant?” “Brioche please” Because using a knife and fork on a croissant is a nightmare. The pastry chef comes over. Great guy. Talks about croissants for a second. He brings me a croissant on the house. Best croissant I’ve had since one in Montreal 6 months ago. I’m blown away; in a state of awe. The server comes over with eggs Florentine IN A CROISSANT. I almost started laughing. I thought maybe I was being pranked. I just enjoyed it as is.

Maybe the guy just got really stressful news or was partially deaf. He was super nice and apologetic. And they didn’t charge the pan au chocolat or the croissant. I’m definitely going back for the food, but just be mindful of the servers not necessarily being great. But that could be a fluke. People have bad days and sometimes late nights.
