We are long-time patrons of this bar restaurant. The food is standard burgers, sandwiches, and some full dinners. Our favorite is “Steak at the Lake” on Saturdays. Reasonably priced and always delicious!

I’ve been to Yankee Lake before, but not for dinner. The place was nothing to look at, and my wife said her bathroom was “gross”, but the food was really good. Prices were nice on the wallet as well. I don’t think this place is romantic and not a “must- go-to” but if you’re in the area you could do worse!

I’ve been coming here for years and always had great service, and fish dinners were always the best. Came here friday for the fish, and it was ok. Definitely not the same fish you used to carry. Im ok with all you can eat beer battered fish not being all you can eat. The fish you replaced it was not good. Bring back the old beer battered fish you used to have and get rid of the fried fish you have now. For a friday night you need to have more than 2 servers. We waited for almost 15 minutes before anyone noticed we were there. We were getting ready to walk out until the bartender noticed we were at a table, and she came over and apologized to us . Definitely not like the old yankee Lake used to be. I dont know if it’s a new owner who does not care or if the old owner is just not caring either. If you sat at the bar, the service was good there from what i saw, but definitely not in the dining room area. I feel bad for the 1 server in the dining area as it was starting to get busy when we were leaving around 5 pm. It’s a normal dinner rush, im assuming.

Saturday night is steak night. They had 3 specials, we each had the rib eye. Best steak ever! Price and taste hands down beat any of the chains. Service was good too, our waitress was attentive without being intrusive.

GREAT Saturday steak special, 2 can dine for $25.95 ! 2 10oz sirlions, 2 starches, & 2 salads. Steaks on 2/15/25 were delicious… very tender, no grissel what so ever & cooked perfectly !
