Food was fairly good including a nice burger. Several good beers on tap. It is an order at the counter spot. Ambiance is only okay.

Yankee Jack’s food is consistently GREAT! It took me way too long to discover this place when it was at the golf course. Now, I’m thrilled they have their own, beautiful place in a more convenient location! Everything I have ever ordered from Yankee Jack’s has been great. I love their Friday fish fry and burgers. I’m super excited to see they now have coffee and bakery, as this place may need to become my new favorite breakfast spot. Best of luck in your new location. Based on my awesome experiences, I know you’ll do great!!!

The menu is an intriguing and diverse creation. Some changes coming soon to expand offerings. The PUBLIC HOUSE BURGER was cooked as I ordered it “medium rare” to perfection. No lie or exaggeration. One of the best I have ever eaten. 1/3 lb burger loaded, juicy and massively flavorful with homemade chips $8.99. I can eat and I was prepared to take part home. My wife had a salad with chicken, cherries, tomatoes etc. She devoured it or most of it. Had to get a to go box. This gem opened in Nov 2016. Where have I been!!! Very diverse beer lineup etc. Don’t deprive yourself of this gem. Go see Eric the manager he’s awesome. This is a progressive minded eatery.

Three of us had lunch here today and it was OUTSTANDING !! One of us had the Brisket Philly. WOW. The flavor of the meat was incredible and all.of the extras only added to a great sandwich. Another had the Turkey Club. She said it was WAY good but there was so much food, she had to take half of it home. Finally, we had the Shrimp Mediterranean Wrap. Also and outstanding sandwich. Can’t say enough good about the food but also can’t forget to mention the staff. TOP NOTCH. If you’re in the area, come here but make sure you’re hungry. You’ll be glad you did.

Yankee Jack’s catered our wedding and went above and beyond to help make our wedding meal amazing! They accommodated our guests by preparing vegan, gluten free, and egg free meals. I used to be someone who didn’t think the meal at the wedding was incredibly important, and my experience in working with Jack changed that. The staff was efficient and kind to the guests. They were even clearing plates during speeches, and it went unnoticed. I cannot count the amount of compliments that we received that evening on the chicken and fish. You know, most brides say they do not have time to eat; I can assure you after that first bite I made time and cleared my plate! I would recommend them to anyone in the Chippewa Valley looking for quality food and even better service! Thanks Jack!! — Chris and Nikki 2/20/2016

I’d say 4 1/2 stars. I wish the kids meals had larger menu because my daughter is picky. But we ordered an adult hamburger for her, and homemade chips, and she loved it! Smaller daughter had Mac and cheese. Wasn’t homemade but then my kid probably wouldn’t have ate it if it was. Public house beer was awesome! We love trying new beers, and my husband is an IPA man. But he loved the amber. Decor was amazing: modern and farmhouse. Music was rock and blues (loved). I had goat cheese apple chicken salad and it was bigger then my head. It was super yummy and I didn’t even make a dent in it. Hubby got bacon cheddar burger, and devoured it. Potatoes wedges were a bit over salted, but I love them like that. Chef was working on a new cheesecake shake, and gave it to my family. They were so happy! They put huge half cheesecake on it. Fabulous! Shake was a bit grainy, but my kids never complained. Plus who doesn’t love being free guinea pigs with food? I’d give them 5 stars except it was a bit pricey. I wish the apps were a bit less price then a hamburger. The service was great, and very clean place! Cant wait to try the Sunday breakfast!!! Overall we would most definitely recommend this place! Even just for beers, date night, or dessert. Next time I’ll try something different, so I can try the huge array of food.

So this is my second time here and I’m totally disappointed in the brunch buffet. $13+ for salad, no actual breakfast meat, no signage to identify the mystery dishes. When the omelette attendant was in his position he was great & friendly. Once again no signage so the nice looking bacon strips/ pieces were a tease from a distance.. sundried tomatoes which is all I could taste but go service omelet guy. I should have followed my gut & left when the dishwasher/cook or whatever she was was picking her teeth or whatever was stuck on the roof of her mouth as she was walking up front behind the person taking our order. Another fail was the counter person/waitress. I do not tip until I get my food & actual service. So if that is why you passed by asking how our food was without evening waiting for a reply you are your own worst enemy in the service industry. For the record my first experience was great. The burgers and fried pickles were the bomb. Bunch unfortunately was an epic fail.

Went in for the fish, and although it looked incredible, I was not able to eat it. I’m not really sure what the problem was, it just didn’t taste good at all. I tried both pieces, and even took a third bite just to make sure it wasn’t me.
My potatoe wedges were really amazing, and the hush puppies were good.
My wife had a burger and chips, and said they were very good.
