This is attached to a hotel I think. Very roomy dining room. Service was good. Quiet area from 9am – 11am. Ordered the country fried steak. Food was ok. Hash browns were crisp on the outside. I liked them. The country fried steak had a breading or more of a coating that I was not a fan of. Just my personal preference. Gravy was tasty. Eggs cooked perfectly. Plenty of parking space and I had no wait for a table.

The server was wonderful but the food was not. Probably the most bland plate of food I’ve ever eaten. The salmon and pot roast are definitely over priced for the lower quality of food you’re getting. If you’re looking for something to just fill you up, they have large portion sizes. Do yourselves a favor and don’t get the Big Cheese Brulée cheesecake.

Like others have said the food is good. I belive that the staff are very nice and friendly but just a touch slow. That being said I will be going back to try some other menu items.

I was staying at the Red Lion Inn 4 days. This Yankee Grill restaurant is connected to the hotel by a long hallway. I got ill from consuming the food cooked here. When I visited this place during lunch and dinner they had only a couple of customers at all accept those who happened to eat there while staying at the hotel. The decor is old and was dirty. I would avoid this particular restaurant.

Met a client the other day for breakfast at the Yankee Grill and the food was fantastic and the service was great. I really like this place because it is easy to find, great free parking, and nice environment without being too pricey.

Small hometown restaurant. Decent selection. Price point is a bit excessive. Way to much garlic used on dinner menu. When I asked for new veggies with my Salmon the waitress said-it’s good for you. I agreed but explained it was all I could taste. The waitstaff is pleasant. The food average. Atmosphere is decent.

Worst food ever… The Yankee Grill is a former shell of what used to the be the Yankee Diner ( in the Seattle area), which had great food. The Yankee Grill is no match. I should have known better when walking in on a Saturday during happy hour and seeing only 1 customer. But, we were starving so we went ahead and gave it a try. The Reuben sandwich had tough corned beef, the kind that pulls out of the sandwich when you bite into it. The fries were good though. The chicken fried steak was….horrible, and that’s being nice. The side of veggies was drowned in garlic and oil. The dinner salad was served with old lettuce that was half wilted – you know, the slimy kind. On a positive note, the service was friendly AND fast. although maybe a bit too fast — the drinks, salads and entrees were all served within about 10 minutes. I guess they wanted to rush us out the door to make room for the long line of people waiting. Oh wait, that other customer and us were the only people there.
