We got the roasted duck for lunch with the chow mein noodles and WOW!! The duck was so crispy and the noodles were perfect and seasoned so well! The service was great. Super cute and very authentic feeling. I will dram about that duck! And a VERY good price for the portion!

$19.37 for the worst tasting and super light amount of walnut shrimp. I could have paid $18 a king buffet and got great tasting and as much of ALL the Chinese food I wanted including walnut shrimp. Not worth it.

No sweet tea & drinks are by the can.
Big pot stickers, pan fried. Decent sauce. Fluffy wantons at just the right crispiness. General tsao was mid but good flavor on the sauce, a couple Of peices of chicken were too crispy. Fried rice had an interesting flavor. Not full of veggies like some.

We have been going here for 16 years. Today spent over $100 for the family to eat. Ordered it to go. They forgot a soup, sweet and sour chicken is either something else or they changed it. Food way over cooked , flavor is terrible. Portion size was fine, we will all have leftovers (if we want to try to ear them). Sad this has always been our go to and excited for it today. Fine with higher prices if the food was as good as it used to be. We dont live in Carson anymore so we haven’t been in a couple months. Sucks like everything else quality has gone down.

Everything is great. Very polite every time. Everytime I pick up my order….its ready. Clean restrooms as well,….a little dated, but its a older building, all good. Does need a ppwerwash, and paint job though. Excellent food!

The menu has a few new items now. I just got these honey walnut shrimp, totally amazing, not all gloppy sauce and a ton of shrimp too. Get to dine in, I think you get more that way and the food is the freshest. You always lose something when you get it to go and end up with cold food. The fried rice was great too, all hot and has that wok seared flavor. Another thing I got I like is the slat and pepper pork chops, so damn tender, how do they do that? Service is always good and when the head cook Yang is in, that’s when the food is the best. Oh, yeah, the roast duck here is one of the best I’ve had!

Food was really good, I’ve never thought this would happen in a city like Carson, don’t get me wrong they have many restaurants but let’s talk about this place, service was good, prices are very good actually I thought it was going to be more for what we ordered, it was around $54 or so… we also ordered sushi from the next door witch is connected to this place and it was really good too I’ll add a picture too. Very good I truly recommend this restaurant.

My last review a year ago was complaining about the rise in prices. Well, I just went back to check out what it was like now, and the dang prices AGAIN went up! Pot stickers went up to now $12 for 6 stickers and my fave noodles went way up from $14 to now $16!, that just in a year! The noodles are still good, but I was with a friend and we wanted to try the salt pepper pork chops ($16). DON’T GET THIS DISH! Pork chops they were not! It was just small pieces of pork, like chicken nuggets that were deep fried and tossed with some jalapeno peppers. Need more salt and pepper! This was a terrible version, all dry and chewey, not like the tender morsels I was expecting. Oh well, can’t win them all. Posted pics. I’m not in a real rush to come back here, like I was maybe 10 years ago!
UPDATE: Yang’s Kitchen is no longer the affordable place to get good Chinese food here in Carson City. They have raised the prices AGAIN … now pot stickers are $11.00 and my fave noodles are $14.00. I know inflation is killing restaurants, but there’s a point this is the breaking point! Will no longer go here and start cooking at home more now. The food was still OK, on the last visit, just paid way more than I’m comfortable with.

Always friendly, fast and some of the best food in town. I have never been disappointed by them!
Addendum, months later: consistently the very best food in Carson. Delivery arrives steaming hot. I can’t recommend them enough, Yang’s Kitchen is amazing.

Walked in and were immediately set next to the window. I guess they could tell we were tourists. Was a nice view! Great menu selections and prices were for the specials almost unheard of these days for soup egg roll, Rangoon wonton and a big fried shrimp and a huge plate of food for dinner. Wonderful hot tea for this cold rainy day. So much food on dinner special I brought half of it home!
