Yanagi is such an awesome sushi restaurant!
Amigo roll is a dup to a roll at Billy sushi! So good! Jamie is the best server and introduced us to the tartare app that is SO good and is my new “always order” appetizer. Bonus for having a good glass of Joel Gott Cab and Sapporo beer! I used to live DT mpls and this place makes me so happy I don’t have to drive downtown to get sushi! Thank you to the team that works there! They are awesome!

First time trying this place… Really disappointed in everything but the appetizers. We got it to go and ate it within the first 20 min of leaving. The sushi was warm from the other food and was mush. The eel was full of bones that are still stuck in my throat as I’m writing this.. probably the worst sushi I’ve ever had. I would have rather ate gas station sushi. The softshell grab was mushy. Spent $86 on mediocre food and they even forgot an item but called us when we were on the highway to tell us and wouldn’t even refund it. Rice and noodles were bland no flavor. Overpriced sushi and entrees.

Seriously amazing place, everyone is so kind the food is amazing all of the pieces we ordered were 10/10! We ordered the sweet heart roll, crunchy roll, blue fire, and bmw roll. This is our new sushi spot! I absolutely loved it here! They really take care of their customers.

Food was fast to the table even with 80% of the restaurant full. Everything had great flavor and perfect amounts. They have a great lunch menu to meet all types of sushi fans. Did not have a chance to try any beers or cocktails, but they have a good selection.
The only thing I would say is because they are in a smaller location, super large groups should call ahead 8 or more.

What a GEM! We live in Maple Grove and we were on our way home from Big Lake and craving some sushi. Looked for a reputable restaurant and were shocked to find such a highly rated place in Rogers! Super modern, exceptionally clean, splendid service, and the food! Seriously, THE freshest salmon and rolls I’ve had since Origami shut their doors in Uptown. It’s not fancy, but the sushi bar is fun and they have an excellent kid’s menu, hibachi menu (not the grill), and all the classic and special rolls you could want. The price is fair and the service was expedient. We will be back!

I enjoy sushi and I read through the reviews to find the best rolls. People love this place. The positive reviews are accurate. It is as great as they say. My new all time favorite roll is James Bond, next Amigo. So Good!! I will make it a point to stop here again. The service was excellent!

Hands down, my husband’s and my favorite sushi spot north of the Cities. We’ll gladly drive 20 minutes out of our way to come here. The service is always friendly, and the food is phenomenal. The Cowboy roll is my personal favorite, but we truly haven’t tried anything we didn’t love.
