Upon entering, you grab the menu from the counter and sit wherever you’re comfortable. A staff member comes over to take your drink and food orders—easy, no fuss.

We ordered the xiaolongbao, shumai, and a variety of rice dishes ranging from chicken to pork, all served with vegetables on the side.

There’s also a condiment station loaded with chili, soy sauce, sriracha, and salt & pepper—help yourself and go wild.

Flavor-wise, everything tasted legit and authentic. The only downside was the rice being a little cold, though the toppings helped warm things up.

Overall: 4.3/5 ⭐️ — solid spot, would still come back.

Delicious food. I was able to order roasted duck, scallion/ginger chicken and char sui by the pound. I was also able to buy congee, fried rice and noodle dishes.

They also offer boba.

Lots of parking although it’s shared with a lot of other restaurants and retails stores.

Clean interior.

Friendly staff and fast service.

I came in, ordered the roasted duck over fried rice to go at 1:10pm. I get my food almost 20 minutes later. I saw them microwave my rice and when I get to the car and take a bite into the duck I got stabbed in the mouth by a bone. They did not tell me the duck had bones, multiple pieces had very small sharp bones I could have very easily choked on.

Stopped by for dinner with my wife for the first time. Staff were kind and organized. Atmosphere is very simple but comfortable. We ordered the Beef chow fun, pork belly, and their fried chicken combo with fried rice. Everything tasted amazing!!! The Chow Fun reminded us of our favorite noodle spot of “House of Bowles”. Everything was full of flavor and yummy! We also had the classic milk tea with boba and that was really good! They have a wide variety on their menu. We are definitely going back to try out some more stuff!

I was looking for roast duck in Katy, and this restaurant caught my eye. I ordered three BBQ meats over rice to try their Chinese BBQ. All three that I tried were above average. I especially liked the roast pork. The crispy skin, along with the juicy meat, was really enjoyable. I would like to come back for the Beijing duck set. The environment was clean and with a good atmosphere.

For boba tea & drinks they are okay but not an exception or anything special. For other foods they are so & so. Being an Asian & as an Asian food lover, I find their food non authentic. I would rather say more Americanized. They have Hong kong & Taiwanese cuisine menus beside tons of drink menus.
Their customer service is good & the cashier lady was very polite & professional.
They are clean & tidy. Has both regular & high chair-tables.
Good for once in a while visit.

We had an impromptu road trip to Houston earlier this week and on our way, we stopped at Katy for dinner. Originally, we were going to check out Phat Eatery but they happen to be closed that night. We looked a couple doors down was @yantea.katy and we took the chance. It turned out to be a great choice after all.

I got Dad a Mango Yogurt, Hubby had a Jasmine Green Tea, and I had a Strawberry Green Tea. I got Dad a Fish Filet Congee. We had ordered the sampler portion of the Scallion Chicken, half Peking Duck, and Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings). Such a delectable treat to have all these mouth-watering foods! I bought the Mango Mille Crepe to go.

Usually Char Siu. Siew Yook, Roast Duck and Chicken, one had to go to Chinatown on Bellaire Blvd neighborhood… now families needing the above for a special occasion can visit many places in Katy including the newly renovated Yan Tea. It’s got a welcoming atmosphere and the staff serving us we just as friendly and hospitable. There’s a positive vibe here.
Apparently, lots of folks here there tea blends or boba drinks from here as well as the other local tea places. Some just won’t have their tea blends anywhere else but Yan Tea. Will try their teas next time round.

We came for the Char Siu and Siew Yook( Roasted Pork Belly) for our CNY family reunion dinner. They had plenty to offer. The smell of the savory and sweet aroma of roasts welcomes you as you open the front door. Greeted by a hello as you walk in. Service was warm and prompt. Great eye contact. Nice ambience. Will bring fam back for a meal and make another review. Roast meat is good quality.
