This is my second time back to Yamu. I had the Red Curry Chicken, spicy tuna roll, seaweed salad. It was fantastic. The food was fantastic. The sushi was fresh and perfect. I did take out and they were super nice. Offered a table and water while I waited. I just moved to the area. This will be my go to on my way back home. Highly recommend.

This was such a lovely small business experience. The food was amazing. In particular I would like to highlight their Crab Rangoons and the “First Lover Roll”(not pictured because it got eaten too fast lol). And the service was astounding. I stumbled upon this place by chance and was pleasantly surprised. Despite its compact size, the atmosphere inside is warm and inviting. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. The menu offers a great variety, and the service is quick.
I would have loved the green tea to be loose-leaf rather than from a bag, but that’s just a wish for the future. Overall, a lovely spot worth visiting!

Yamu Thai and Japanese in Pompano Beach delivered an unforgettable dining experience! I ordered the green curry, Thai tea, and finished with their fried ice cream—and everything was exceptional from start to finish.
The green curry was rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced. It had just the right kick without overwhelming the fresh flavors of the veggies and tender beef. Paired with jasmine rice, every bite was comforting and full of depth.
The Thai tea was the ideal complement—smooth, lightly sweet, and served ice-cold. It balanced the spice of the curry perfectly and added a refreshing touch to the meal.
To top it all off, the fried ice cream was a fun and satisfying treat—crispy on the outside, cold and creamy on the inside. It was beautifully plated and the perfect ending to a flavorful meal.
The ambiance was inviting, and the service was warm and attentive. Nadia welcoming us in and Nat being our server was very awesome. Whether you’re craving bold Thai flavors or just looking for a relaxing night out, Yamu is a must-visit in Pompano Beach. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Love this restaurant. It is small but cute and cozy. Service is very good. We were seated immediately and the food came out quickly. Not only fresh sushi but they also have delicious Thai food. Everything tasted good and nice presentation. Highly recommend and definitely go back!!

Their Thai Tea was the perfect amount of sweet. Fried Shrimp dumplings were to die for honestly, we paired them with the calamari a sweet spicy mix to start off the meal.
We had Red Shrimp Curry done to perfection, the flavor was phenomenal. Also, Combo fried rice, was nicely made and incorporated. Best part was it was amazing portions for two!
