Tiny but lovely ramen shop with friendly staffs. Very good reviews too. However ramen was pricy( Shoyu ramen $13) and not so good. Soup needs more “koku and umami” or rich body of the flavor. Chashao roast pork was also tasteless though it’s softness was supreme. I should try spicy miso ramen next time and review my rating again.

It’s tiny, but mighty. I didn’t think I would find a good bowl of ramen after leaving Fukuoka, but I am pleased to say I was wrong. Easily the best ramen on Kauai. I look forward to my next bowl! ご馳走様でした！

Absolutely amazing. The shop is small, don’t be afraid to walk in or send your order online. I give this place a 10/10!! Seriously amazing stuff everyone. My family visits every year and I will make this a regular stop.

Best ramen and friendly service. The char sue is so tasty, prepared with burned torch to make it flavorful. Had the citrus shoyu ramen and it was unexpectedly good with a hint of spice and citrus juice. Tiny place with only 6 seats inside.

Are you kidding me? I wish I can give them 6 stars!! This is the best ramen on the island, the best! Owners are super nice as well, we came back twice already, more to come during our visit to the island!

If I could give it 10 stars, I would. I work in Tokyo often and have been known to eat all my meals at Ginza Kagari, a Michelin started ramen shop. Yamato’s has handily unseated them – it is my new favorite in the world. The spicy miso was incredible. All char siu should be cooked by blow torch. The owners are very friendly too.

Have you ever seen Tam Popo? This place is as good as Tam Popo becomes and the care to detail is superb! Best Ramen I have had. Clean building, nice staff, shoyu was perfect. Not only was the Ramen great, but the small building provides an authentic personal feel to the eating experience.
