This place is pretty dirty and gross (especially the bathrooms, which the handicapped stall had no soap in with the sink), had sticky floors, and overall we felt it was overpriced for what they were serving. My husband thinks they cut down their nori sheets to save on cost, so you don’t get much when you order rolls. They tasted fresh and good at least, but the atmosphere was sub-par for the price point. I guess if that’s your only option and you want sushi, you could eat there, but we won’t be returning. We left feeling hungry.

Amazing food, lovely flavors, and outstanding service. Every time my family and I come here, it’s always a 100/100 experience from the service to the food. The sushi is consistently fresh, and the hibachi is full of rich, delicious flavor. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is always friendly and attentive. We always leave happy and satisfied and can’t wait to come back again!

Amazing variety of sushi! I was full after just one roll and even had leftover hibachi for the next day. Everything there was so fresh and well portioned! The customer service was wonderful, and the staff were so joyful and welcoming.

Would not recommend, chicken hibachi taste like nothing but straight pepper. Pepper covering rice and chicken, I know el dorado doesn’t really have good food, but this was unacceptable for japanese hibachi.

The Japanese woman at the counter was incrediblely rude, loud, and hostile. There is no excuse for a worker to scream at a customer who is trying to resolve an issue.

We started with the salmon sushi. It was very good and tender but a very thin slice.. No fishy taste at all. Served with pickled ginger and wasabi. I had the chicken teriyaki bento box. It came with chicken teriyaki mixed with veggies, fried rice, 6 california rolls, 1 spring roll, miso soup and 1 pot sticker. It was $10.99. I was not pleased with the spring roll. It lacked flavor and was mostly roll. The chicken teriyaki was not my favorite either. The chicken did not have much flavor at all. The teriyaki sauce was almost clear and not tasty but not bad either. I enjoyed the rice and cslifornia rolls. We both enjoyed the miso soup. My husband ordered the chicken hibachi but got a plate that looked and tasted just like my chicken teriyaki. His came with fried rice and miso soup or salad. He also enjoyed the rice but thought the chicken was only mediocre. Our favorite was the salmon sushi. Service was pleasant and she was patient as we took a while to look over the menu. No fortune cookie at checkout?
