The food is very delicious here. Just 2 of us though and our bill was $80, for lunch. So we prob won’t be coming back. especially when you have all you can eat sushi places for $25.

1st time here, wonderful experience, food served rather quickly and well done, quiet environment even with all the dining area half full. Price was good for all that we got, had appetizers, meals, desserts, and drinks for 3 for about $75 total, took a full box of left overs home. Volcano Roll was my favorite without hot sauce, Boston roll was good just not as filling. Felt like a very healthy alternative. It all tasted good, everyone loved their food, prompt service, great attentive waitress who was helpful when ordering, I noticed even the cooks were smiling and enjoying their work. Wasn’t able to lock the bathroom door, maybe that’s just me. Definitely want to come back.

Don’t waste your time going there to eat within an hour of them closing on a Friday night. You’ll find the doors open with the open sign lit up but no one wanting to serve you. The hours say open til 10 but at 925, we were told they close at 945. They wouldn’t sit us as they had an empty dining room and yet they sat around the table talking. Great customer service! I’ve only had sushi here. But the three times that I’ve gotten it, it’s always been good. Seems to be very fresh. It’s the only place in New Castle you can get sushi. And I would say they’re pretty reasonably priced.

Working in New Castle as a travel nurse I felt like eating sushi. Googled and found this restaurant and decided to go, sit and have some sushi after a long tiring overnight shift Friday evening. I entered the restaurant and this Asian young lady approached me with a mean look. She stood far way across the restaurant and shouted “dining or take out?” Trying to look passed her approached I set dining. She walked off and before I even got to the table she again shout, “drink.” I pretended I didn’t hear her and she again shout “drink.” At this point I turned to her and said, “can you at least allow me to sit.” She walked off and quickly came back a throw a menu on the table and said shouted again, “drink.” I turned to her and said can you please calm down, please take it down a notch there is no reason for your behavior. As I was sitting there I saw her walking pass me with a beautiful smile on her face. I turned to see what was so pleasing to her. She was greeting three Caucasian and walking them to a table. At that point I got up and told her please put a sign outside that says NO BLACKS ALLOWED and left. Racism will never end.

I have enjoyed wonderful food from Yamato over the last few months but my most recent experience wasn’t great. I ordered for here and to go. I waited patiently for about 30 minutes until the table behind me that walked in after me was served their drinks and food while I was still waiting. I was sitting close enough to the visible preparation station to hear where the mistake was made. My server came out to the table and served the food without so much as a “sorry this is late”. I’d hate to see how this restaurant would fare if completely full. 3 tables total were seated when I came in.

First time visit. Curtis was very friendly and helpful. I asked for specific sushi that I enjoy and it was perfectly presented. The additional rolls were nice sized and very fresh and tasty. A good find on my journey in Western PA

Lovey and I took our great-niece here to eat . Restaurant was very nice and clean. Our waitress was very friendly. We had an appetizer of sushi. I passed on that. I had filet and lobster, lovey have the steak, baby had chicken and noodles. It was incredible how tender the steak was. I think you can’t be pleased if you don’t like the food here. Additionally very reasonable.

We were here for a softball tournament and recommended this place to our whole team! The food was amazing! The soup was the best I’ve had at any hibachi restaurant before! We will be back the next time we’re in the area!
