Every time I come here it’s the same experience. The food is always freaking amazing. I swear to God every time I come, just take a look at it and you will see for yourself and the waiter is so young and pretty and elegant and smart and witty she was suggesting things she was trying to help figure out issues when I said something about a menu item. She was trying to suggest a way to make it fit in with my meal. She was very in tune with her job. I feel like she deserves a raise, but yeah, I was enjoying myself as y’all are about to see.

We really enjoy this place and come here often. The environment is naturally good and the people are great. Food is on point, I tend to get the assorted tempura and then we usually get sashimi or something else one of the roles, it’s just great to be hanging with the family-owned business and enjoying the food. Food is great and the family is wonderful.

When we walked in there was a sign saying the sushi bar is permanently closed. They did not have what was listed on the website menu either. The food was incredibly bland. I got the hibachi chicken and my partner got the tempura chicken. Both of us took one bite and immediately didn’t want to eat anymore. The hibachi chicken was just salt and peppered and that was it. The inside of the restaurant also looked like it was in pretty bad shape, booths were uncomfortable. Our waiter was nice and not at all bad, but everything else was awful. Do not believe the good reviews.

Absolutely delicious! The food was amazing and I loved every bite. I’m literally obsessed with the sweet carrots and the soup — SO good. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. I’ll definitely be back!

My food was very thin portion for the price and one of the scallops was weirdly cooked like crispy or something and my other scallops were textured weird as well. I will not be returning. Rice didn’t seem like it was fried, more like steamed. I asked for mushrooms and they gave me like 4 small pieces of mushrooms.

One of my absolute favorite restaurants. The food is always delicious. Service is efficient, polite and quick. Atmosphere is casual and pleasant. Today’s server Cole was knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend Yamato.

The place has an authentic feel to it. The food is good. They have a ginger salad dressing that is unique and good. The sushi bar is normally closed Mondays and Tuesday, but it was more permanently closed when I went.

tables were nasty. There was grease dripping from the wall, making me lose my appetite already. The waiter was nice though. He moved us after asking because of the nasty scenery. But the food was OK. It wasn’t to die for. However, when they brought out tempura, you would think it’s just shrimp in flour no, it was shrimp in funnel cake batter. It was also mini vegetables in funnel cake batter. This is why it has a low rating. I do not recommend it unless you are really hungry.

Excellent service, the owner came out and spoke to me like a friend and made me very welcome. The food was excellent and the price was great for the service provided. I will be back if I’m in the area.
