Unbelievable service. Tina and Claire were extremely attentive. Sushi was a 10/10, and the hibachi was awe-inspiring as well. If you ever have the pleasure of driving through the great, historic city of Bedford, Indiana, Yamato is a MUST-TRY. These owners know what they are doing. Beckett OUT!

Absolutely fantastic. Service was fast and our server was extremely attentive. The food was excellent. Highly recommend if you’re in the area looking for an alternative to typical bar food.

Steak and chicken combo, got the steak and shrimp. Rice was kinda dry, steak was chewy, shrimp was good though, service was service, Sophie I think her name was. Had to ask for it. For the area, it’s great, but be careful of the bill. They charge a cc fee. And it’s added into the bill. I PAID CASH. Still got charged. Oh well. Lesson learned.

I’m from out of town and the last time I came I dined in and enjoyed the experience. This time I requested take out from here since I didn’t want to expose others to my cold/flu symptoms. Long story short, had to wait over 30 minutes past the time we were told it would be ready for pick up and it wasn’t even during a busy weekend.
You can take that as if it were too long to wait or the food is that good, worth waiting for. You decide.

Solid quality food. I was a little curious about how it would be compared to in a larger city but they definitely are worth checking out. It seems like a popular spot because they do a good amount of business. Definitely one of the better food options in town.

It was my first time entering the restaurant and even though I ordered take out I was still happy with service and the atmosphere. I was told by a friend if I wanted to try sushi for the first time try yamatos. I tried the spicy tuna roll with yum yum sauce and immediately fell head over heels in love. Will definitely be coming back. Keep up the fantastic work.

Quality food for cheap, especially the Yakisoba. It’s very fulfilling and the serving size is just right. Service is good and atmosphere is very quiet and relaxing. A perfect spot for lunch or dinner if you relish in quiet.

Absolutely fantastic, food presentation Was excellent, had a smoken hot waitress, to boot, was very impressed. I hope they expand the menu, all round experience was a 10/10. I spent $60+ on sushi , but you can still enjoy this place at a very reasonable price for a meal.

This was my 1st time visiting the new Yamato’s in Bedford. The decor was nice, updated, with comfortable chairs. The service was incredible! Very knowledgeable about the menu and extremely friendly.

We asked about a menu item going to another table, after we had ordered, and they actually delivered us one on the house. It is an item that wasn’t on the menu yet and they were trying it out. They had made one for social media photos, but weren’t going to eat it- so we benefitted! It is a jalapeno popper appetizer (the last 2 photos). It was 3 large breaded jalapenos filled with cream cheese and tuna and deep fried. YUMMY!

The 3rd photo were the appetizers we ordered- fried dumplings (great with their sauce) and lobster Rangoon (also great- although I couldn’t try that sauce due to the sugar content).

The 1st 2 pics are different shots of the Yamato Sushi Rolls. I can see why they are a house speciality. You won’t be disappointed!
