Atmosphere is cool, food is good and priced right. Got the onion soup, chicken hibachi, and Godzilla roll. Sushi was a 4 out 5. Great for the price and very fresh. You could see the chef making the sushi.
Lost one star star because wait was a little long. Other than that, awesome Japanese food.

We ordered 6 rolls of sushi, side salads and crab rangoons. Everything was really good.

Just treated my Dad to lunch at this awesome eatery. Get there! Some of the best oriental cuisine I’ve had and the atmosphere is great. And it was my first experience with sushi, but their Shrimp Tempura rolls were awesome! Do yourself a favor and eat here as soon as you get the opportunity!

Last night I walked in to a dimly lit room and didn’t see any customers and asked sincerely, “Are you guys open?” A female employee there wise cracked, “No we’re not open”.
That was my initial experience.
The guy who seated my wife and I was polite, however. He was new.
The food was very mediocre. Tasted like it was a frozen Chinese TV dinner that had been heated up. The rice was the only thing that tasted decent.
I ordered a Japanese menu item (Hibachi chicken and the steak equivalent), but it tasted nothing like Japanese food. The sauce or gravy was horrible… couldn’t finish the meal. Very disappointed in the quality of the food. The salad dressing wasn’t remotely authentic and the miso soup was terrible.
Our waiter recommended a crab sushi item. Probably should have tried that.

The Godzilla roll is good here. The habachi is good too. It is fairly priced although it is a tad expensive. The scenery is nice and it has a cozy feel, quiet feel. The staff is friendly and overall was a nice place to eat.

Eat here weekly since they opened. GREAT FOOD! If you like Japanese, if your a meat and potatoes person please don’t trash them because you don’t like it. I’ve ate sushi around the US and this one is up there with some of the most expensive places I’ve ate but at a great price.

If you are expecting a traditional Japanese habachi experience, do not come here. Despite the name, there is no hibachi grill. The ginger dressing is chunky and flavorless. The rice is a boil in bag deal. The fried rice is boiled and greasy. The sushi was all crunchy and the fish was mushy and tasted weird. Only a few deep fried “specialty rolls ” to pick from. The waitress described the yum yum sauce as ranch based, and the ginger dressing as a fruit sauce. Very dissatisfied. I am sitting here in the booth as I type. When we asked for mustard sauce we were told they had none and were offered A1. They don’t have a liquor license. Please go to crestwood and eat at Rikishi. Rikishi is the best.
