I will make this short and simple the food was delicious. I have been getting the filet mignon dinner bento box for at least 6 years now. However when you first walk in if there’s nobody up front you’re going to have to wait until someone finally notices you. I would have given five stars, but while we were eating they were blaring religious I love Jesus music the whole time we were eating. For a Japanese restaurant ran by Chinese to have religious music playing it really kills the experience and atmosphere. I must add that if you ever do an online order from this place theres a very good chance that they’re going to forget something or give you the wrong meat.

They don’t wear name tags which honestly makes sense as the service here is overall bad.
The older lady that works here is mean. I’ve watched her yell at to paying customers for not “tipping enough”. I think that is abhorrent behavior and we will not be coming back, as the food is not good enough to overlook this behavior.
Full disclosure – they don’t even do actual hibachi either. They make everything in the kitchen so idk why they expect grand tips when they don’t even do what’s advertised. The other server who’s a younger woman is much nicer however this doesn’t negate the bad behavior they allow. I didn’t see anyone else working get on to the mean old lady. I don’t know if she’s the boss but honestly that’s worse.
Just go to one of the many buffets around Jasper for cheaper big meal(s) or Ohanas if your willing to spend a lil more for better service + food.

The service was top-notch, with a friendly and kind staff that made us feel right at home. While wait times can vary, trust me when I say it’s well worth it – the sushi is absolutely divine! Fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared, each dish was a delight to the senses. If you’re a sushi lover like me, do yourself a favor and give this place a try.

Ordered a large order for take out 4 terriaki bento boxes for New Years Eve and one differant order can I say very very disappointed chicken was dry no terriaki at all rice was so greasy terrible awful I got them for gest so embarrassing people ended up picking at the plaits ended up just throwing it out what a waste of food and money!! I will not go back.Tryed to talk to lady and she wanted to give me more of that food or eat free no thank you not doing that again.

Sashimi was fresh and I had no complaints compared to places in California. Even the miso soup was good that my kid who is very picky about it, enjoyed it here out of other places we’ve tried around the area. Speed of service was good, but there was almost no one around for a Friday afternoon.

Other than that the food is absolutely delicious & flavorful.
And the service has gotten faster/better.

I decided to come for sushi…and I was not disappointed…this has been the best sushi I have had in I don’t know how long! Every bite was tender and fresh. I almost cried when I took my first bite! AMAZING!

Sorry to be the negative Nancy but for how expensive this place was. It was very disappointing. I got the chicken hibachi dinner and the steak hibachi dinner to go. When I got home and opened the boxes it was smothered in mushrooms. Now I like mushrooms but, these mushrooms look old and black and just bleh. I got a sliver of zucchini and a couple carrot sliver and one piece of broccoli. Also they say you get”miso soup” and this is clearly not miso soup. The only positive I have to say Is will the salad dressing is good and outside of the mushrooms the food was pretty tasty.

Service was very polite, attentive and speedy. Atmosphere was cozy and comfortable for the most part; our booth was affected by the patrons behind us, when they moved their weight around our seat became unstable so it was uncomfortable somewhat, until that patron left. But no huge deal, just some old/outdated booths and chairs. Everything was clean and the dim lighting was relaxing, music was about a medium in loudness. Comfortable for talking to your dining partners while not being able to easily hear others. Food was fine, definitely not the best we’ve had for the price range, but not terrible. The salad vegetables were crisp and fresh, tempura was good, spring rolls had good texture but little flavor, steak was average, shrimp was cooked well, sauces were average and a bit mild in flavor, rice was average. Everything tasted edible and inoffensive, just not ‘wow!’. For a quick bite in town this seems like a decent option though, and again the service was great, so it’s worth supporting.
