I’m really digging this place. Been three times and never left less than totally satisfied. Been there when I was only person in the building and couple times it was packed. Really clean, fast service, very very good food. With similar competition across psrkinglot. Yamato has no worries. I’ll eat here atleast once a week. Maybe more.

I have had a consistently delicious experience at Yamato ever since it opened. The outstanding roll is just that, outstanding. The steak is cooked to perfection in the hibachi meals. Carry out is almost comically fast. Try Yamato! It’s delicious

I’m not sure why, but our server was extremely rude. She rushed us through every part of our service, and acted as if it was a bother to her to refill drinks or to grab spoons for us for our rice. I had my 8 year old and my 12 year old, and she had no patience when asking them what they wanted to drink. She even raised her voice when my son asked for Fanta, and responded so mean as if he knew they didn’t have it. She snatched the menu from my oldest and ignored her when she asked for a refill. The food was good. We normally order it on DoorDash & just decided to come in for our weekly outings. However, people who were sat well after us received their food before us, with the same server being very nice and patient with them. She didn’t even tell us to have a nice day or any type of farewell once I paid, I still tipped. I’m not angry, I understand culture. I just won’t be going back or ordering from this place again.

The food was pretty good. I liked my main course. New York Strip and vegetables. I did not care for the miso soup. I don’t think that it was bad it was the first time I had it. The service was quick and friendly. The atmosphere was rather stark and not so inviting feeling. I would go there again.

First off, this is a very Clean Resturaunt. Sushi and the fried rice were heavily subpar. Sushi was sour with a fish smell let alone taste. Fried rice was very bland. Nothing else to it. Service was ok at best with various staff reaching across food to replace the soy sauce at the end of the night
