Great restaurant! The outside is unassuming but the ambience inside is great! You get a pretty good quality for the price. We got the sukiyaki and the nigiri combo with salmon, hamachi, tuna, and shrimp. We also got the agedashi tofu. The food was pretty good and the service was amazing! The sukiyaki was good, I was a little surprised at the platter they served it in!

My friends and I frequent this fine establishment and it never disappoints. The food and especialy the sushi is amazing. I recommend the Crunch Monster, Bonzai, and If you want to wow others in the restaurant, the kiss of Dragon rolls. Not only are they delicious, but the presentation is great.
I’ve also had the Katau, Karage, Udon, Spicy Chicken, and other dishes which I can’t remember, because I’ve been there so much and I’m just picking my favorites, but I don’t remember anything I’ve had that I didn’t like. The appetizers are really good too!
Aside from the food, the service is really good. I’m impressed by how well they do. I would seriously recommend this place.

I’ve never had a bad experience here.prdering the Ramen, Udon, or katsu-don has all been so very pleasant <3 all of the food is SUPER delicious (to someone who doesn't like sushi), and the perfect go-to place to bring family too! I Will happily continue coming here!

Yamato Japanese Restaurant is absolutely amazing. I had the eel sushi and the tempura udon, and both were incredibly delicious and perfectly prepared.
The service is very nice—friendly, attentive, and welcoming.

We just had lunch with our daughter at Yamato and it was phenomenal! The service was great! Each person was so kind and attentive to our needs. They refilled our drinks quickly and even helped us celebrate our daughter’s birthday by bringing her a little card and flower. We ordered the Arizona, California Roll, Crunch Monster, and the Vegas Roll. Each one was well worth it. Highly recommend trying it out if you are in the mood for a good sushi roll!

Kind staff and a small family-run feel, but the food quality didn’t match what we expected based on the ratings.
The miso soup and water had off tastes, the booth seating was uncomfortable, and the sesame chicken tasted like pre-fried frozen chicken with a sauce packet.

Amazing Asian food. They are mostly Japanese but also offer Korean BBQ and some Chinese dishes. We had all three and we were impressed. Chicken was amazingly crispy and cooked to perfection, I had the Bulgogi and loved it. The sushi was delicious as well. All for a reasonable price!
We got worried when we first walked in because we were the only people in the whole restaurant on a Sunday evening. This place should be packed every night it was so good!
