Wonderful sushi! Stopped in for lunch and sat at the sushi bar. Fresh thick cuts of sashimi, plentiful serving of edamame, and yummy sushi rolls. Menu offered lots of other things to choose from, including ramen and cooked dishes. Small casual space with sushi bar and hibachi kitchen. Definitely recommend!

We made a reservation for a party of 5, and the service was great. The atmosphere is good with music but it is a little cramped in the restaurant. I enjoyed the magic roll, but the steak in the hibachi steak was a little chewy. Overall, I would recommend this place.

Ordered Hibachi steak (medium cooked) for dinner with fried rice and vegetables. Received steak well done and fried rice uncooked and not edible. Addressed the fried rice to the server and told “it’s supposed to be that way”. I’ve eaten rice all my life, I know when it’s cooked or not. This was my third time here recently and will be my last.

One of the best Japanese restaurants in the area. The food here is truly amazing. Hibachi steak is delicious. Salad with ginger dressing is very good and always fresh. The sushi is excellent. Service can be up and down depending on who your server is. Over all I’d highly recommend this place.

I will never EVER, go back there to eat again!
There were flies, and gnats, flying in our food, with a gnat, actually landing on the napkin, covering the sushi, and DIED ON THE NAPKIN!!
I told the waitress this as well!!
That’s right, I had to cover the food with napkins, to prevent flies, and gnats from getting into it!!
ON Top of that, they had the nerve, to charge a 15% gratuity, which was already calculated into the bill. My daughter also left a tip, because we didn’t happen to see the gratuity on the bill, until we left, and we’re in the car!!
The integrous thing would have been, to inform us, that the gratuity was already paid, and reject the tip, we had given you!
It’s absolutely disgusting, and unfair business practices, to do what your doing! Before I go out to eat again, at any restaurant, I will call ahead, and ask if they charge a gratuity, for your staff.
Fyi, Tipping is a COURTESY, AND NOT A REQUIREMENT!! CONSUMERS, ARE NOT REQUIRED TO PAY YOUR STAFF….YOU HIRED THEM, AND ARE Solely RESPONSIBLE TO PAY THEM!!!
I understand, that people’s vision, and understanding, in this day and age, have become extremely skewed…. believing they are ENTITLED, to other people’s money!!
ITS utterly disgusting, that the entire world, has become absolutely ENTITLED, and this should NEVER BE!! I distinctly, remember a great time, when workers could not even receive a tip in some places of work, and if they did, would be reprimanded, or fired! What a great day it was…. People had much of a less ENTITLEMENT mentality!
You, and ALL OTHERS, ARE NOT ENTITLED TO ANYONE’S MONEY, ONLY WHAT THEY HAVE ORDERED AND EATEN!! If consumers CHOOSE to leave a tip, then, it’s their own freedom of choice to do so, and aren’t forced to do so!!
ONCE AGAIN, IN CASE YOU MISSED IT…YOUR EMPLOYEES WORK FOR YOU, NOT THE CONSUMER, AND ARE THEREBY, YOUR RESPONSIBILITY ONLY!!

W W! Excellent quality, great taste, with a nice variety. Today we had the Kani Salad to start and it was very refreshing. We added the Samet and Crazy Crab rolls (pictured here) and they are large enough for two people and tasted delicious. Janelle served us and was very attentive and responsive. If you are in the mood for great sushi in a great clean environment (see pictures) try them out!

The food here has always been excellent. The sushi is on par with US Sushi and is always fresh, plus they have a great lunch special on 2 or 3 rolls. To address the negative review from D Kellam: if you think Sushi Kingdom has better food than Yamato’s then your taste buds are either clearly malfunctioning or they just don’t like you. And after your review sprinkled with all-caps and aggressive exclamation marks it’s clearly the latter.
