This is my favorite sushi restaurant in Fitchburg. I love their sushi pizza appetizer. My kids enjoy the mango boba. It is small with limited seating but in warm weather you can enjoy their outdoor seating.

This is definitely a worth going SUSHI place in Fitchburg, MA! Their fishes used are of high quality and flavorful. The sushi chef has a passion for creating such edible art and many of their sushi and sashimi combinations are so mouth-watering. There are also different poke bowls and appetizers created exclusively at Yamato. It was a great place for sushi lovers!

I rarely leave bad reviews, but my experience at Yamamoto Japan was genuinely disappointing from start to finish.
First off, the service was painfully slow — The rolls fell apart as soon as we tried to pick them up, the rice and shrimp was chewy and not flavorful, the steak didn’t even look like steak.
The miso soup was lukewarm, with barely any flavor, and the fried calamari tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. To make matters worse, our server barely checked on us, and we had to flag someone down just to pay our bill.
For the prices they charge, I expected much better quality and service. I’ve had better Japanese food from a mall food court. Unfortunately, I won’t be coming back or recommending this restaurant.

Always delicious! My favorites include the SB roll (not on the menu anymore but ask about it!) And the crazy tuna. The hibachi chicken dinner is one of our favorites too. The rice that comes with it is delicious. They serve beer and wine now too! Great sushi in the twin City area.

My family and I absolutely love this place. The sushi is the best and they are quick to make sure your drink is always full. There’s so many sushi roll choices and meal choices and everything always looks great. We will continue to come here at least once a month!

Went for Valentines day with no reservation. Got seated relatively quickly. Service was great. Food came out quick and delicious. Went back again 2 days later for lunch. Lunch prices are hard to beat. The Sashimi is cut extra thick, so you definitely get your money’s worth.

My husband and I love this restaurant! The sushi is absolutely delicious. The restaurant can get pretty crowded and doesn’t seem to be very spacious. Overall, the food is so good and I’d highly suggest giving it a try. Try coming in right before a dinner rush if you’re looking for comfortable seating.
