The customer service is below sub-par and they have no concern for allergies. Went and requested a plate and expressed I have a mushroom allergy and the cashier still allowed my food to be cooked in the same spot mushrooms were prepared without cleaning it first. I requested that the food was cooked on a separate grill and was told that wasn’t possible. As she was telling me this I see food being placed on a clean unused grill. Needless to say I will not be returning and if you have food allergies I suggest you don’t either. They are reckless and unconcerned about allergies and the repercussions of improper food safety.

Showed up at 8:20pm the business is suppose to close at 9:00 and I got “shoed” away without even having the decency to open the window and say you were closed. Terrible customer service.

Hands down, the absolute best place for hibachi. Know the owners personally and as well as the original owner even though he passed away, would love for them to build a place here in fayetteville. They would get soooo much buisness, i hate having to travel 3 hours to get it but soooooooo worth it.

My husband went to pick up at the drive through window for us. He ordered 4 teas but it being near closing time they ran out and we only got 3 and when the young man was trying to give him his money back the older lady acted like there was about to be a horrific problem, so he told the young man to just keep it. Then when he gets home with our food the spring rolls are burnt, and something is up off bad with the rice! It is definitely not a good night at Yamato’s!

I love love the yamato’s in Shelby I lived there for 7 years, and ate there as much as I coul! Because I loved it so much! I had no idea that there was a Yamato’s down on Franklin boulevard! So I just seen it online and was excited I haven’t even ate there yet..So I called and was asking questions like how long have you been there and things like that and the woman on the phone was like why do you ask all these questions and I was just like because I was from Shelby and I ATE THERE ALL THE TIME! I had no idea that y’all were open or how long have you been open and she didn’t really say much.. Maybe I misunderstood her and then she was like but we cannot feed nobody right now and I’m thinking she just meant like right now I can’t feed nobody because they open at 11:00 and it’s 11:00! which I understand that, but I was just calling to ask how long they had been open for! So therefore not only that but I have been reading all these comments and everybody seems to say the food is not as good, and that they are rude! I want to try it out for myself, but I’ll say I don’t want to get undercooked food or pay top dollar for nasty food.I definitely don’t want no rude people serving me so if I can get any feedback and if anybody knows how long this place has been open I would greatly appreciate it thank you!
