I was really impressed with Yamari! The matcha flavor here tastes authentic and rich they use Uji matcha from Japan, which gives it a deep earthy taste and pleasant bitterness instead of just being sweet. I expected a typical soft serve, but it was much more refined. The parfait comes with sweet red bean paste, which balances the strong matcha perfectly if you like a little extra sweetness. Even the cone was stylish, black in color, and made the dessert look elegant. The portion size was generous, and everything tasted fresh. Definitely one of the best matcha spots I’ve found in the U.S., and I’m excited to go back to try more items!

High quality matcha latte! I wish I had gotten my drink lightly sweetened as the unsweetened matcha latte was a bit too bitter for my taste. No wait when I arrived around 2:30 on a rainy Friday. Was planning to get their matcha banana bread but unfortunately they were out by the time I arrived. I had a little trouble finding it as I thought it was inside the market. You can enter via the main Mitsuwa Market entrance and then take a left and it is at the entrance of a food court area

I used to get the hojicha soft serve and it was so good! My favorite! Im so sad they discontinued it . I got the matcha soft serve and its still really good but not the same sadly. Please bring back the hojicha soft serve!!!

Yamari is amazing! I got the match parfait and it’s the best! The matcha is so fresh,smooth,and full of flavor! The shop has a clean, relaxing vibe, and the staff are welcoming and helpful with recommendations. Definitely a place I’ll keep coming back. Highly recommended!

4 stars because I’m lactose intolerant and 2 times when I ordered (different days) they would give me my latte with whole milk when I asked for oat. I made sure with a receipt and by asking. They do rectify the mistake, but you have to make sure your order is right before leaving the counter. I do appreciate that there isn’t a surcharge for alternative milk like other places
As for taste, I always get the matcha. It’s very good matcha. I also took a sip of the hojicha from my sibling and it was very delicious too.

Yamari has AMAZING matcha. It’s located inside Mitsuwa Market next to the del amo fashion center mall. Their matcha lattes was one of the best I’ve had – the matcha flavor is strong and really authentic so it stands out from the other matcha lattes I’ve had. They have a variety of matcha lattes and matcha desserts – their matcha soft serve was fantastic and flavorful as well. The portions are small but definitely enough. It’s more so on the pricier side but the quality is there. Great place to satisfy matcha cravings and to get a small dessert after your meal at mitsuwa!

Ordered matcha latte and soft serve, staff was rude and implicitly lying about not having things but then served me the item. The latte was over 7$ and 90% milk with little matcha powder. Maybe just went on a bad day.

Rating Yamari a 5 out of 5! Had an opportunity to try their latest item on the menu, the Einspanner Matcha Latte. Definitely surpasses all the matcha lattes that I have tried! It was a combination of light sweet and partially bitter — the concoction is absolutely divine and perfect.
Yamari may be the best place to grab matcha lattes, matcha parfait, matcha tea and matcha soft serve in California. Highly recommend!

This matcha tea shop is located inside Mitsuwa Marketplace. They sell very high quality Japanese matcha from Kyoto. They have multiple varieties of matcha drinks and ice cream and desserts. There is quite a difference in flavor of matcha since the tea powder are authentic. Parking is plenty in the outside lot. It’s probably more healthy option versus the super sweet boba tea drinks that are sold elsewhere.

This is possibly the best place for matcha soft serve! I tried their mixed premium matcha and vanilla soft serve and strawberry matcha latte (milk alternatives soy and oat available). This is located in the food court of the Mitsuwa Marketplace in Torrance. I will definitely come here again for their soft serve.
