We started as a family business that first opened our door in 2003. Calling ourselves as just Yama at the time, we only had four tables, truly being just a hole in the wall. Through an arduous process of many trials and errors, Andy Chen was able to perfect the now YamaChen menu to that we know today. Each day, for our customers, Andy Chen brainstormed ways to improve the quality of our food, from our in house sauce to our fish providers, creating the signature YamaChen rolls that solidify our place in the restaurant sphere. He believes that his success is due to his motto: Freshness, Sincerity, and Generosity.

Always on point with their fresh ingredients. It takes a few minutes to get your order but that’s because it’s made to order, it’s not sitting in a box.

The service was good. If you’re looking for good sushi, this is not it. The rice on the rolls were so soggy I could not eat more than a couple.

my daughter and I decided to do a google search for a new sushi restaurant today and we found this establishment. I ordered the (crazy stone roll) and also added a(Philly Roll) my daughter still new to the sushi game ordered the (California Roll). shrimp tempura was our appetizer.

The waitress was lovely, food was fast but WOW… the fried noodles (1 cup max) and veggie stir fry was served with corn, tomatoes, and 5 dried, tiny pieces of chicken- I have NEVER seen corn and tomatoes in a stir fry and couldn’t eat the protein. My husband had 2 sushi rolls and it was 50/50. One fair and one no bueno. The free edamame app was great. Disapponited to say the least. Oh well!! No cooking and cleaning is always a blessing but we won’t be back.

Overall a great lunch, the server gave us a few freebies (edamame, some fried dough) it was quite slow in there. Delicious sushi and rolls the eel is my favorite the inside was well decorated and super clean which is always nice. Reasonable prices and a lunch menu until 3!
